Zack Snyder confirms his cut of Justice League will premiere in March 2021. After years of campaigning for Warner Bros. to release the Snyder Cut, DC Extended Universe fans finally got their wish granted. Back in May, following a Man of Steel watch party, Snyder revealed Zack Snyder's Justice League was coming to HBO Max, as he finally got the opportunity to realize his vision for the superhero ensemble film. While this development was very exciting, there have still been a number of questions that need answering - including when people can actually see the new version of Justice League.

A specific release date was never announced, but it was reported Zack Snyder's Justice League was targeting an early 2021 debut, implying it would come out within the first quarter of next year. The project's window was seemingly narrowed down even further more recently, when WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar wrote in a blog post the Snyder Cut would be arriving on HBO Max "in a few months." Now, the director himself has confirmed an exact month.

Responding to a fan on Vero (via Thiago Kesseli) about wiping Joss Whedon's cut of Justice League out of existence, Snyder mentioned Zack Snyder's Justice League premieres in March. Check out the post in the space below:

It's worth keeping in mind WB and HBO Max haven't made any official announcements regarding this, but Snyder's comments line up with what Kilar previously said. This is the most specific release window mentioned for the Snyder Cut since the project was initially confirmed over the spring, though an exact date is still unknown. With March only a few months away as of this writing, the studio will likely unveil additional marketing in the near future to drum up further hype for the Snyder Cut and drive more subscribers to HBO Max. Any upcoming promotional materials will likely clear up any other lingering queries viewers have about Justice League, such as if the Snyder Cut will be rated R. This is by far one of the most high-profile projects to come to HBO Max since the streaming service launched earlier this year, so there will surely be a big push for it over the next couple of months.

March is also when Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres on Disney+. Typically, Marvel and DC movies tend to avoid each other at the box office, so it's fun to see both companies come out with highly-anticipated streaming projects in the same month. That'll give viewers plenty of comic book content to enjoy in a short time period, helping make up for the lack of major releases in 2020. Zack Snyder's Justice League has been a long time coming for those who passionately campaigned for its release, and they fortunately only have to wait a few more months to watch it.
