Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films are bringing together all the heroes that were teased in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice with Zack Snyder's third directorial effort in the DCEU, Justice League. The team up has had a relatively smooth time through production so far, emphasizing how Snyder's new film has a lighter tone than the divisively-darker Batman V Superman. That line extends to other DCE movies too, with next year's Wonder Woman also described as being more optimistic than Batman V Superman.

Justice League screenwriter Chris Terrio described the film as being lighter than Batman V Superman even before the latter hits theaters, but WB/DC has been more active about emphasizing this point - bringing multiple sites to the movie's set and letting the details learned be released immediately, prior to releasing a trailer at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con (over a year before the movie comes out). Snyder also released a video announcing the wrap of filming in the UK, and it appears that filming is now done in Iceland too... and possibly, overall.

Jason Momoa has been constantly sharing photos from the set of Justice League and he recently took to Instagram to post a plethora of photos announcing that filming has wrapped. It is unclear if he means simply wrapping up in Iceland, but the amount of posts and some of the captions seem to indicate that Justice League has finished principal photography.

Justice League wrapping now gives the film over a year to be in the post-production process. As editing on the movie begins, there are sure to be pickup shots (aka reshoots) that happen, but have always been planned. Hopefully this extended post-production time gives the studios and Snyder enough time to deliver a film that lives up to the hype it currently has.

The worry here for some fans could be that all this time between wrapping and the film coming out could lead to more chances for studio interference or other drastic changes behind the scenes to happen, but fans can only hope that the studio has learned from past mistakes. Justice League will continue to be a highly anticipated movie with growing expectations, but Wonder Woman has the chance to lessen the burden of the film if it is received positively.
