With Wonder Woman scheduled to hit theaters in June of 2017 and Justice League set to follow in November, next year promises to be a big one for Warner Bros. and their DC Extended Universe. Both movies have been under production this year, with set photos from Wonder Woman first surfacing at the end of 2015 and continuing throughout 2016. Set photos from Justice League have been a bit more scarce since the first one hit the Internet in February, but some standouts have included Aquaman playing the guitar, Commissioner Gordon on duty aside the Bat-signal, and a Deathstroke storyboard.

Now it appears that the time for Justice League set photos is coming to an end as the cast and crew prepare to wrap up production. That means no more set pictures of the King of the Seven Seas jamming on a Gibson. However, there may yet be a couple months left for just such an opportunity, although it will be in a substantially colder environment.

Momoa took to Instagram a short while ago to announce that the Justice League wrap party will be happening tonight, but that he himself won't be attending. "I have never in my life missed a wrap party," Momoa wrote in the post's caption. "But as you all know I'm a huge fan of the food and merriment!!!!" He cryptically added that he will be preparing for the north while the rest of the cast enjoys the party, although what exactly he will be doing up north he did not say.

Momoa is most likely referring to the filming in Iceland that is scheduled for this month through next month. That may be at odds with the fact that the cast is having a wrap party, but that party may just be for principal photography given the Iceland schedule. From what was shown in the San Diego Comic-Con teaser trailer for Justice League, the Iceland filming could have to do with establishing Aquaman's backstory as well as the scenes in which Bruce Wayne tracks him down. Those scenes had a very "small, Icelandic village" vibe and it may be that director Zack Snyder still has some work to do in fleshing them out.

No doubt Momoa's castmates will be missing him and his guitar skills at tonight's wrap party. However, it may not be that long until they see him again, as Momoa added "Shaka aaalllooohhhaaa see u Monday" at the end of his post. This could indicate either that they will be joining him on set in Iceland - or just that he just intends to get on Skype and play them some "Stairway to Heaven" from abroad.
