DC Comics just announced a new Justice League series that will star President Superman and Flashpoint Batman! The new series will be written by Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver with art by Andrei Bressan and Brandon Peterson. The official title of the series is Justice League Incarnate, a spin on President Superman's Multiversal team's name.

In Infinite Frontier #4, President Superman and the Justice Incarnate find out about Darkseid being situated on the Omega Planet. Naturally, the Justice Incarnate will be making their way to Earth-Omega to deal with the dark forces that lie there. But before President Superman can get to Darkseid and his army, he must face the wrath of the Injustice League, who have cornered him in his team's headquarters. The final few issues of Williamson's Infinite Frontier series promises to be explosive and for anyone looking forward to this new series, they are must-reads.

According to CBRJustice League Incarnate is a new miniseries that will spin directly out of the Infinite Frontier miniseries' finale. Williamson confirmed via Twitter that this is "Act Two" of his master plan for DC Comics' next Crisis event. With this announcement, it can be inferred that multiple other miniseries in the same vein are coming down the line. Justice League Incarnate will continue directly on from the Justice Incarnate's big showdown with Darkseid in Infinite Frontier #6. The solicitation teases that they will suffer a "devastating defeat at the hands of the one true Darkseid." Check out the solicitation and cover art below:

  • After the shocking ending of Infinite Frontier, Justice League Incarnate defends the Multiverse from Darkseid across infinite Earths!
  • Following a devastating defeat at the hands of the one true Darkseid, the Superman of Earth-23 leads a team of superheroes from myriad worlds that includes Flashpoint Batman, China’s Flash from Earth-0, Captain Carrot from Earth-26, and the brand new superhero DR. MULTIVERSE from Earth-8 in a last ditch effort to stop the end of every possible universe as we know it!
  • Written by Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver with first-issue art by Brandon Peterson and Andrei Berssan and a rotating cast of artists exploring the many different worlds of the DC Multiverse, this can’t-miss series is the next thrilling chapter in the Infinite Frontier saga!

In the issue, Darkseid will be pushing his new army forward to claim the Multiverse while Justice Incarnate scramble to reinforce defenses to protect the Omniverse from the former ruler of Apokolips. The cover art and solicitation feature some big teases in regards to which heroes will be showing up. It's heavily implied that Flashpoint Batman is officially a Justice Incarnate member, representing the Batman-type figure that is present in most incarnations of the Justice League. Thomas Wayne sticking around was implied in the last few Infinite Frontier issues, which have seen President Superman and Flashpoint Batman chumming around the multiverse together. Avery Ho, the Flash of China, will be joining the team, along with a new perfectly named hero, Dr. Multiverse! DC describes the five-part miniseries as "the next thrilling chapter in the Infinite Frontier saga!" If this new team fails to stop Darkseid, "every possible universe" will be destroyed. The first issue of Justice League Incarnate will be available on November 2.
