As mainstream interest in the famed "Snyder Cut" of Justice League continues to explode, Zack Snyder has released a collection of new images from his cut of the movie on social media. The infamous reshoots Justice League was subject to took the film far off-course from what Zack Snyder had originally intended, Snyder having left the film following a family tragedy. Although the two-year anniversary of the movie's release came over the weekend, the push for the release of Snyder's original version of Justice League is bigger than it's ever been.

Much of the renewed media attention the Snyder Cut has received can be attributed to the current wave of cast and crew members publicly supporting its release. A series of interviews with Jesse Eisenberg, Junkie XL, and Jason Momoa would offer new details on Snyder's original cut of Justice League and would lead to a never-before-seen surge in people directly connected to the movie making their support for the Snyder Cut's release known. All of it would culminate on Sunday with Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck each adding their voice to what has become a thundering Snyder Cut chorus.

Snyder himself would continue his extensive social media teases of his cut of Justice League with a new batch of photos on Sunday. Snyder also captioned his post with the words "Humbled by the outpouring and support" along with the hashtag "#afsp" (standing for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). While the images released by Snyder show scenes of Wonder Woman, Bruce Wayne, Cyborg, and Aquaman not seen in the theatrical version of the movie, the one featuring the Amazonian Princess seemingly offers a further glimpse into one of Snyder's earlier teases. Check out all four new photos below:

Cyborg Snyder Cut

Specifically, the image of Wonder Woman appears to tie into another recent image released by Snyder showing Cyborg preparing to defend his father, Dr. Silas Stone, from Steppenwolf in STAR Labs. Snyder had also previously confirmed that Victor Stone's father died in his version of the movie with the release of another still image showing Silas being killed by a Mother Box. Each of these images would appear to paint a picture of a deleted battle in STAR Labs against Steppenwolf, a point seemingly strengthened by snippets seen in new rehearsal footage released by the movie's stunt team.

Calls for the release of Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League are growing louder by the day. Indeed, the issue has reached such a level of public visibility that even many who were not thrilled with Snyder's previous superhero movies are growing interested in seeing his version of the DC ensemble. What's more, the cast and crew have begun joining Snyder in releasing never-before-seen Justice League images online, with Jason Momoa in particular making waves after unveiling a look at the movie's original ending earlier this month.

With chatter about the Snyder Cut having ballooned to such proportions in recent weeks, it's clearly going to continue on, as is the increasing demand for its release. Snyder's cut of the movie cannot see the light of day without Warner Bros. giving it the green light, and thus far, no plans for a release announcement have been made public. However, with the campaign for Zack Snyder's version of Justice League now including the voices of Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck, it's obvious to anyone observing the Snyder Cut situation that it has clearly reached critical mass.
