Cyborg's Knightmare-era cape from Zack Snyder's Justice League has been revealed in a new video. At long last, director Zack Snyder's completed version of Justice League is just a week away. Snyder was the project's original director back in 2017, but he departed midway through production due to a family tragedy. As a result, the version of the movie released in theaters was vastly different than the one Snyder set out to make. Thanks to the enthusiasm of fans, though, Warner Bros. has finally allowed Snyder's Justice League to debut on HBO Max. It will arrive on March 18.

The Snyder Cut will feature different arcs for all the main characters, with Ray Fisher's Cyborg perhaps being the most notable example. Fisher has stated the theatrical Justice League (which was overseen by Joss Whedon, whom Fisher has since accused of abusive on-set behavior) featured virtually none of the scenes he shot for Snyder's film. This new iteration of Justice League will offer a more complete origin story for Cyborg, with the movie diving into his family and the accident that led to his transformation into a human-cyborg hybrid.

In short, Justice League is going to be a lot different for Cyborg, and it will even see him factor into the long-awaited Knightmare sequence. As revealed by AListProductions in a new video, Cyborg's Knightmare costume is on display within Dallas' Zack Snyder's Justice League exhibit. In this post-apocalyptic timeline, he has a new look, with a cape tucked securely over his shoulders. You can see it at around 3:30 in the video below.

Cyborg, along with Batman (Ben Affleck) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) are the last members of the Justice League standing in the Knightmare timeline, which imagines a world where Earth falls to Darkseid and the forces of Apokolips. As Justice League is poised to explore this sequence in great detail, there's an opportunity to really showcase Cyborg as a hero and give him the story he deserved to get the first time. Snyder has described Cyborg as the heart of his Justice League; perhaps the way he acts within the hopeless Knightmare world will resonate with audiences.

Either way, he's guaranteed to look cool in the Knightmare period, as the costume shown in the above video gives Cyborg an excellent, Western-esque look. Fisher has been among the Snyder Cut's biggest supporters, which only promises more exciting things for Cyborg. Though he's missed out on so many intriguing stories over the years, Justice League promises to do right by Cyborg, and that's a special thing.
