The latest fan-created Justice League content imagines how Victor Stone/Cyborg's first flight could've played out in the film. Played by Ray Fisher, the character first made his appearance in 2016's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in preparation for his official debut in the Warner Bros. ensemble flick a year later. An integral part of the movie's overall narrative considering his ties to the Mother Boxes, Justice League was supposed to feature more of Victor and his origin. Sadly, the tumultuous production for the project led to a drastically changed story from what director Zack Snyder initially envisioned, and among the most affected was Cyborg's role.

This led to the birth of the "Release the Snyder Cut" movement - a campaign started by fans demanding that Warner Bros. release the original cut of the movie with Junkie XL's (the original composer before Danny Elfman stepped in) intended musical score. The studio continues to be mum about the matter despite numerous publicity moves by the supporter of the cause - the latest of which happened in San Diego Comic-Con with billboards and various other advertisements for it seen near the venue. In the meantime, as the fight for the rollout of the Snyder Cut continues, some fans decide to spend their time making their own content inspired by it, the latest of which puts the focus on Cyborg.

Chris Dawson, a major proponent behind the Black Suit Edition of Justice League (a collection of fan-created content for the film) has shared the latest installment from their project which centers on Cyborg and what could've been his first flight sequence in the movie. It's able to incorporate Victor's horrific football accident into the clip, providing a bit of back story for the character. Watch it below:

Previous releases from the Black Suit Edition of Justice League primarily focused on Superman (Henry Cavill) and his altered role in the film - particularly the part where he was supposed to don the infamous black suit (hence the name). But it's great to see focus on Fisher's Cyborg considering that among all main characters in the film, he was arguably dealt the shortest stick. His origin story was cut from the Joss Whedon-assembled theatrical version, including some character moments between him and his family, as well as the supposed death of his father, Silas Stone (Joe Morton).

Even post-Zack Snyder era, it seems like only Cyborg is going to be left without his own film. Even considering Ben Affleck's exit as Batman and Cavill's complicated status, the Caped Crusader is still set with star in his own standalone, while Superman has at least one under his belt in the DCEU. Both Ezra Miller's Flash and Arthur Curry's Aquaman only had a slight better involvement in Justice League than Fisher's Victor Stone, but they were given their respective moments to shine, no matter how limited their screen time were. And the worst part is, if anything, Cyborg was supposed to be the scene stealer in the film considering his connection to the narrative.
