A brief exchange between Diana and Alfred in Zack Snyder's Justice League hints that Batman may have copied Wonder Woman. The Snyder Cut's 4-hour runtime means a lot more character development and moments. That includes a conversation between the Amazonian Goddess and Bruce Wayne's butler at the start of the film.

While they maintained the main cast and narrative, the theatrical cut of Justice League is significantly different from the Snyder Cut. A lot of the story elements were removed from the 2017 version of the film. However, with the full creative freedom to make his vision into reality, the Snyder Cut includes a number of additional scenes.

On top of the big story moments, the Snyder Cut also has additional smaller interactions between characters. The theatrical cut was limited to a two-hour runtime that forced it to leave these moments on the editing floor room. That includes a short but funny interaction involving Alfred and Diana as Bruce was out to recruit Barry Allen/Flash for their mission. In it, Alfred was working on Batman's energy-dissipating gauntlets and explained that "it was Master Wayne's idea." With a knowing look on her face, Diana joked that perhaps they can work on a lasso next, but in black. This was a reference to Wonder Woman's lasso of truth considering that Bruce's concept for his gauntlets was actually copied by her own metal wristbands.

Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck as Wonder Woman and Batman in Batman V Superman

Prior to the events of Justice League, Bruce and Diana first met in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Thanks to Lex Luthor's file on the rest of the League members, Bruce found out that her real identity. It took a bit of convincing for her to show her true self as Wonder Woman, but in the final battle of the movie she came in and used her metal arm cuffs to deflect Doomsday's fatal attack on Batman. This was where Bruce got the idea for his own gauntlets, but to suit his overall aesthetic, his were black while Diana's were gold.

In the end, Batman's gauntlet proved to be useful as it saved him from Superman's initial onslaught in Zack Snyder's Justice League. After Clark Kent was resurrected, he started attacking members of the League not knowing exactly what was happening. Bruce came in a little bit late into the scene, but he wasn't spared as the Last Son of Krypton zeroed in on him. Fortunately for him, Lois Lane came to calm down Superman and effectively help Batman.
