Zack Snyder urges fans to view his version of Justice League repeatedly to fight for a sequel to the film. Zack Snyder's Justice League hit HBO Max on March 18 after years of fan campaigning and rumors about its existence. When the Snyder Cut finally hit the streamer, fans were treated to a four-hour opus that told the story that the director had always wanted tell, including planting seeds for future sequels. Snyder's Justice League  concludes with multiple cliff-hangers, including one extended scene meant to preview a sequel that may never happen.

The original Justice League post-credits scene between Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) is included in an extended form. It is also teased that Lois Lane is pregnant at the end of the film, something Snyder has confirmed to be true. The centerpiece of it all, though, is the scene set in the Knightmare future where Batman, The Flash, Cyborg, Deathstroke, and Meera are fleeing from an evil Superman through a post-apocalyptic landscape created by Darkseid. Snyder has said that this is part of his plans for a sequel to the film.

Both Snyder and WB have said that there are no plans to continue with a sequel to his version of Justice League, but the director took to Vero to encourage fans anyway. When asked if "there is still hope" and if they are "still fighting" by a fan, Snyder replied that they just may be. He tells the fan to keep watching the film and help by getting others to watch. Snyder does not elaborate any further. Check out the full interaction below:

Snyder's latest comment is likely to enflame a fanbase that has already proven to veer wildly between earnest dedication to the director's vision and a more toxic mindset that seeks to push Warner Bros. into continuing on with Snyder's vision. It's clear that this core fanbase will never be truly satisfied - after the release of the Snyder Cut was announced, fans shifted the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement to the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement in the hopes of prompting the studio to let Snyder see through his five-film plan for the DCEU.

Additionally, Snyder has both said that he has no desire to continue working within the DCEU, nor does he wish to adapt any more comic books into films for the foreseeable future. His latest call to fans is likely to send mixed messages, both about his willingness to return to the franchise and the studio's willingness to bend to fans' will. WB seems to have their eyes towards the future, concerned with what the next few years will look like for their upcoming features and series. Zack Snyder's Justice League closes the door on a chapter for the studio that they likely don't want to revisit, but it wouldn't hurt either way (for Snyder or WB) if fans continued to watch the film on HBO Max.
