Zack Snyder's just unveiled a poster for Justice Con 2021, and it features heroes from the Justice League and Army of the Dead, a Snyder-directed film heading to select theaters and Netflix next month. Justice Con is a fan-organized virtual event that first took place last year. The 2020 Justice Con saw Snyder and his wife Deborah and Justice League star Ray Fisher make appearances.

Army of the Dead, which stars athlete and Guardians of the Galaxy actor David Bautista, is a movie that combines the zombie movie and heist film genres, and in the hands of Snyder, it could be pretty epic. Throughout his career, Snyder's helmed projects known for elaborate fight scenes and images that capture superhero lore like few others. Army of the Dead could bring Snyder's best qualities into focus, and fans could get more details about the forthcoming film at the next Justice Con.

Earlier this week, Snyder shared a new poster for Justice Con 2021, which features Batman, Superman, Cyborg, and other Justice League members, as well as Army of the Dead heroes. For the poster, he also attached an announcement about Justice Con 2021, which will take place April 16-April 18:

This is gonna be a good time can't wait to see you all there i'm hopeful Chris Terrio will stop by and we will talk about all things justice league on Saturday and then my buddy Dave Bautista on Sunday to Army of the Dead the f*** out of it.

The potential appearances of Chris Terrio and Bautista should be a big deal for fans. Terrio co-wrote Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he also helped co-write Justice League. Bautista is obviously starring in Army of the Dead. With these two showing up for the convention, there's no telling what kind of gems regarding past or future movies could be unearthed. Last year, new footage from the much-clamored for Justice League Snyder cut was revealed at the convention. All in all, it should be good news for fans.

With the positive reception of Zack Snyder's Justice League, a movie release that was ultimately made possible by legions of fans demanding it, there's sure to be a lot of excitement surrounding the forthcoming Justice Con. Warner higher-ups have already suggested that Snyder won't get the chance to continue making DC Extended Universe movies as he planned. However, the success of the Snyder Cut led to the start of the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement, which is a social media campaign calling for Warner Bros. execs to put him back in the director's seat. Even if he doesn't get to make Justice League 2, fans have a lot of reason to be excited about his new work.
