The Disney+ original show, Just Beyond, from Walt Disney Studios has received new promotional art in the form of comic covers from Boom! Studios. The horror anthology series is based on a graphic novel series of the same name from Boom! Studios. This makes the comic style art incredibly fitting.

The Just Beyond graphic novel series began publishing in 2019. There are four volumes, all of which are written by R. L. Stine. The art for the first three volumes in the series was done by Kelly and Nicole Matthews. The art for Boom! Studios' Just Beyond: Monstrosity, the fourth volume, was done by Irene Flores - and was just recently released. There were eight episodes ordered for the series, all of which have been released as of October 13.

On Twitter, Disney+ shared eight pieces of promotional art - one for each released episode. These comic cover posters take inspiration from the various stories told within the show. They each bear the logo of Boom! Studios, the episode title they were inspired by, and the Disney+ logo. The artists of the comic cover posters include Irene Flores, Christian Ward, Diego Gallindo, Jorge Corona, and Sarah Stern. Check out the Just Beyond promo cover art here:

The episode titles are "Leave Them Kids Alone", "Parents Are From Mars, Kids Are From Venus", "Which Witch?", "My Monster", "Unfiltered", "We've Got Spirits, Yes We Do", "Standing Up For Yourself", and "The Treehouse". Each cover is themed to the episode it is paired with. The first features Veronica Vanderhall in her uniform for Miss Genevieve's school. The second references the game night held by the two main kids' parents, who may or may not be aliens. The third highlights the duo of witches who have opposing ideas of how to handle their magical identities. Just Beyond’s "My Monster" brings the masked antagonist that haunts a young girl within the show to the forefront. The cover for Unfiltered includes an "I love comics" note, which is a nice touch considering the transmedia focus of this art. There is also a note on the mirror referencing Lily Renton being on the Quiz Bowl team.

The sixth episode focuses on a haunted theater, which is recreated on this cover along with its phantasms. The next features a boy and his bully - Evan and Trevor - with Trevor looking exceptionally menacing. The cover for "The Treehouse" predominantly focuses on the titular structure, but also includes a falling comic, which bears the promotional Thank You variant cover for FCBD 2021: Just Beyond: The Monstrosity #1. This cover features Commander Canada and refers to the main character of the episode - Sam - having his father's mint condition comic book. These covers are fantastic, conveying the core components of each episode, and it would be neat if they were made into actual variants. These comic cover-themed promo posters for the Disney+ series, Just Beyond, in partnership with Boom! Studios, are the perfect nod to the show's inspiration.
