Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's Thursday's trailer launch can't come soon enough, but thanks to a funny viral video, fans can get a glimpse at how "difficult" things are getting behind the scenes on the film. The trailer for the sequel to Jurassic World hits the internet this week, and Universal Pictures seems intent on building up a wave of momentum to encourage people to get even more excited about the dinosaurs and the storyline to come.

The studio has shared multiple clips from the Fallen Kingdom trailer, hinting that there might be a bigger threat than the dinosaurs that Chris Pratt's Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing must face in the sequel. Fallen Kingdom also looks to build on the success of the first Jurassic World, which offered plenty of homages to fans of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park, as well as the same timely commentary about humans trying (and failing) to control nature.

The above Fallen Kingdom viral video likewise offers both commentary and homages, all while telling a story about Pratt, Howard, and Vine star Zach King trying to get the film's trailer uploaded to the internet. Highlights here include Pratt saying Sam Neill's classic line from the original Jurassic Park ("When you gotta go you gotta go"), as well as numerous visual references to Spielberg's classic filmHighlighting nostalgia has been a large part of the Jurassic Park franchise as it's moved forward and this clip certainly doesn't disappoint - complete with a twist worthy of the original installment.

Earlier today, Universal also shared a more serious clip from the Fallen Kingdom trailer that features Pratt, Howard, and the iconic T-Rex, proving that there's something for every fan. They've also launched a Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom emoji attached to the Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hashtags, making them perfect for the eventual commentary from fans when their minds are blown by Thursday's trailer.

Jurassic World provided a vital update to the franchise, centering it on a new cast of characters. The fact that the film's production team, as well as their cast, are willing to play with fans in regards to the nostalgia they have for the original film, shows that they also respect the source material, far more perhaps then InGen and the characters in the film respect their creatures. Time will tell however if that continues to be true.

Starring Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcom, and B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu - as well as newcomers to the franchise like James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Danielle Pineda, and Justice Smith - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roars into theaters next summer. The first trailer hits the Internet Thursday, December 7.
