I haven’t seen the finished film yet. I’m sure it’s a very ambitious, huge story, a lot of characters, a lot of dinosaurs. (Laughs) It’s going to be unquestionably big, so they’ve been holding it back until hopefully cinemas are fully open and all that. It’s something that needs to be seen on a very big screen.
Neill's words will no doubt come as a relief to movie theater owners. In the past year, the theatrical experience has made some strides in getting back to normal following the devastating losses caused by the pandemic, but theaters still need buzz-worthy content. Jurassic World: Dominion has the potential to be one of the biggest movies of the year, and its big screen appeal will help drive audiences to the theater.
