Warning: SPOILERS for Jurassic World Dominion Extended EditionWith 14 minutes of footage added, Jurassic World Dominion - Extended Version's new scenes enhance the characters and overall story of the blockbuster dinosaur sequel. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World Dominion is the conclusion to both his Jurassic World trilogy and the six-film saga originated by Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park in 1993. Along with the plethora of dinosaurs in the film, Jurassic World Dominion's biggest draw is the reunion of Jurassic Park's legacy heroes, Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), who team up with Jurassic World's leads, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), and Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon).

Jurassic World Dominion picks up four years after the conclusion of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, when Maisie let the dinosaurs rescued from Isla Nublar loose on the populace. Since then, dinosaurs have proliferated all over the globe while a black market sprang up to buy and sell the prehistoric beasts. Meanwhile, Biosyn, the tech company led by Dr. Lewis Dodgson (Campbell Scott), was awarded ownership rights to the dinosaurs and built a research sanctuary in Italy's Dolomite Mountains for the cloned animals. However, Maisie herself is a perfect human clone of her late mother, Charlotte Lockwood (Elva Trill), and she is kidnapped by Biosyn along with Beta, the offspring of Blue the Velociraptor. As Owen and Claire mount a rescue of their adopted daughter, Ellie, Alan, and Ian learn that Biosyn deployed swarms of locusts enhanced with prehistoric DNA that will wipe out the world's food supply. The Jurassic heroes join forces to expose and bring down Biosyn with the help of new characters, Kayla Watts (DeWanda Wise) and Ramsay Cole (Mamoudou Athie).
