A new Jurassic World Dominion behind-the-scenes video shows Claire's epic fight scene stunts. The Jurassic World trilogy sees Bryce Dallas Howard star as Claire Dearing, the former park operations manager at the Jurassic World theme park before the Indominous Rex broke free and wreaked havoc on the grounds, forcing the attraction's closure. She later becomes an activist for an organization known as the Dinosaur Protection Group in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in which she sought to save the dinosaurs from an impending volcanic eruption on Isla Nublar. However, this ultimately led to dinosaurs escaping into the mainland of North America.

Set four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Dominion finds Claire, former raptor wrangler Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), and Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon) living in the woods. After Maisie is kidnaped, Claire and Owen embark on a rescue mission leading them across the world to Malta, where they find an underground ring of black market dealers selling dinosaurs. There, Claire encounters the dinosaur smuggler Soyona Santos (Dichen Lachman), and the two get into a rough brawl, leading to a rooftop encounter with an Atrociraptor.

A new Jurassic World Dominion video released by Universal Pictures All-Access (via Collider) showcases a behind-the-scenes look at Claire's epic Malta fight scene stunts. The video features Howard and Lachman describing the scene and the stunt work involved in creating the sequence. The film's stunt coordinator, Ben Cooke, explains the techniques used to safely bring to life the daring stunts. Check out the video below:

The behind-the-scenes footage shows the meticulous work required from the Jurassic World Dominion stunt team to fully build a realistic stunt while maintaining a safe environment. The team and actors had to carefully choreograph the stunts, rehearse them ad nauseam, and ensure that everything worked perfectly on the day of filming, so both actors and stunt performers remained uninjured. As the final film proved, the stunt team's efforts truly paid off, as the Malta chase sequence was a clear highlight.

Along with Claire's stunts, the behind-the-scenes video gives a glimpse at the level of dedication camera operators go through to get the most exciting shot. The film has Claire race away from an Atrociraptor in an apartment and leap across an alley to a balcony on another building. The final film has the shot following her out of the window as she grabs hold of the balcony's railing. The video shows not only the stunt performer leaping from the apartment building, but also the camera operator, who was rigged with a wired-harness to safely complete the shot. As the Jurassic Park franchise progressed, the expectations for over-the-top dinosaur set pieces rose. The quality of the stunt work in Jurassic World Dominion was certainly on display as the film proved to have some of the franchise's most exciting sequences.
