The Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous cast is made up of young actors along with some TV and movie veterans. The first animated series from the Jurassic World franchise, Camp Cretaceous is executive produced by Colin Trevorrow, Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Zack Stentz exclusively for Netflix.
Set during the events of the 2015 Jurassic World film, Camp Cretaceous tells the heretofore unknown tale of six teenagers who won a contest to be the inaugural campers in Camp Cretaceous. The kids are all from various backgrounds, with varying interests of being in Jurassic World, but what promised to be a thrilling experience where they get to be up close and personal with the dinosaurs turns into a nightmare when the Indominus Rex breaks loose and wreaks havoc on the park. Suddenly, the six kids are thrust into their own tale of survival concurrent to the events of the movie - and they even intersect in a few interesting ways.
Although the 8-episode animated series is aimed at younger viewers, Steven Spielberg stressed that Camp Cretaceous is not the "kiddie version" of Jurassic World. There are plenty of scary dinosaur encounters, and it's all designed to look just like the film and the series is also accompanied by the beloved film score by John Williams. Paul-Mikel Williams as Darius - A dinosaur enthusiast, Darius is the most excited of the kids to be in Jurassic World and he becomes their default leader when things go awry. Williams also appeared in Westworld.
Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn - Brooklynn is a social media influencer who is recording her Jurassic World adventure for her followers. Ortega starred in Stuck in the Middle, Elena of Avalor, and You.
Ryan Potter as Kenji - Kenji a rich kid and self-proclaimed VIP who styles himself as the group's leader. Potter was the lead voice in Big Hero 6 and he stars as Gar "Beast Boy" Logan on Titans.
Kausar Mohammad as Yaz - Yaz is a super athlete but she's the quiet and reserved one in the group. Mohammad has appeared in Silicon Valley and Black Lightning.
Raini Rodriguez as Sammy - Sammy is friendly and enthusiastic but does some suspicious things when she gets to Jurassic World. Rodriguez has appeared in Paul Blart: Mall Cop and The Substitute.
Sean Giambrone as Ben - Ben is the nerdiest of the campers and he doesn't even want to be in Jurassic World. Giambone has done voice work for Big Hero 6: The Series and Harley Quinn.
Jameela Jamil as Roxie - Roxie is a British camp counselor who is by the book and frustrated by the disobedient kids. Jamil is best known for playing Tahani Al-Jamil on The Good Place.
Glen Powell as Dave - Dave is the laid back camp counselor who wants to the campers to think he's the "cool one". Powell will appear in Top Gun: Maverick.
B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu - Dr. Henry Wu is the villainous geneticist responsible for the creation of the Indominus Rex. Wong has starred in Focus and Gotham and he reprises his role from the films in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
