A new image from Jurassic World: Dominion shows Chris Pratt's character taming a dinosaur once again. The Jurassic franchise came roaring back in 2015 with Jurassic World, a sequel that grossed more than $1.6 billion. This was followed by its 2018 sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which grossed a still massive $1.2 billion. The upcoming third film (and sixth overall in the franchise) will feature Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard's characters, in addition to the main original Jurassic Park characters - Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum will be reprising their roles from the original film.

At the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, dinosaurs are let loose into the world outside of the titular theme park. This has led many to speculate about the plot of the film and what it means for dinosaurs to be unleashed. While plot details have been kept under wraps, early looks at Jurassic World: Dominion, including a prologue-style trailer, have done little to give away details. With the film's impending release next summer, though, it seems promotion is finally ramping up for the highly anticipated film.

Courtesy of EW, the new image from Jurassic World: Dominion shows Pratt's Owen Grady taming a dinosaur in a very cold environment with snow on the ground. Director Colin Trevorrow states in the article that "Dominion is set all over the world, through many different environments: wilderness, urban, desert, snow," with the below image showing one of them.

Trevorrow also points out another problem being faced in this film. "The parasaurs are in danger of being poached. There's a lot of shady types out there who want to get their hands on dinosaurs, so [Grady]'s working to protect them." Grady was adamant about protecting his velociraptors in the first film, and opposed dinosaurs being auctioned off in the second film. It appears that Grady's heroic attitude will continue to thrive in Dominion. It was recently revealed via some Jurassic merchandise that some of those dinosaurs from the previous film will be reappearing in this third film.

It is exciting to catch a glimpse of what is to come in this image. Another recent look at the film showed Howard's Jurassic World: Dominion character Claire submerged in a swamp and being stalked by dinosaurs. With the original stars returning and the mere fact that the dinosaurs have now been unleashed all over the world, it will certainly be one of 2022's biggest movies. While a full trailer has yet to be released, it seems almost certain that another teaser of some sort could be on the horizon.
