The upcoming release of Jurassic World: Dominion is set to feature the return of Fallen Kingdom's Maisie. Isabella Sermon's return as the character marks the first time that a child has had major roles in two Jurassic Park movies.

Kids have always been important to the franchise and every film has included at least one who young audience members could relate to. These kids found themselves in terrifying situations, trapped on an island, or elsewhere, with deadly dinosaurs. All of them were forced to punch above their weight to survive. While all of them had to show incredible courage, some of them rose to the occasion more so than others. But which of them was the bravest of them all?

Tim Murphy

Probably the best remembered of the Jurassic Park kids, Tim was a huge fan of dinosaurs and even read Alan Grant's book. He and his sister, Lex, also had a special connection with the park as the grandchildren of John Hammond. While the sight of blood didn't phase him and he managed to trap a velociraptor with the help of his sister, Tim loses points in other areas.

His fear of heights, in particular, led to numerous challenges for Dr. Grant. The pair were forced to quickly descend a tree while a vehicle threatened to crush them from above. Of all the kids, he came closest to death after he was electrocuted on the perimeter fence. He also was stricken with panic as the big raptor was breaking into the control room, tending him useless when he could have helped by grabbing the gun.

Gray Mitchell

Young Gray and his brother, Zach, were guests of their aunt, Claire Dearing, during the 2015 incident at Jurassic World. He and his brother did fend off a raptor attack during a chase scene in a truck and had useful insights throughout the film. Gray, himself, kept a cool head to provide a vital distraction while pursued by the Raptor Delta.

His only troublesome moment of fear came when he hesitated to jump into a lake while being pursued by the Indominus rex. He and his brother, Zach, were nearby crushed by the Indominus because of this. Aside from that, he didn't have any excessive moments of fear.

Lex Murphy

Lex hears a dinosaur in Jurassic Park.

The granddaughter of John Hammond, she and her brother Tim were guests of the original Jurassic Park. In her panic during the Tyrannosaurus attack, she attracted the carnivore by shining a light at it and screaming loudly. She also was initially afraid of the Brachiosaurus, while her brother was not.

Her bravest moment came during the terrifying kitchen scene when she and her Brother were trapped with two Raptors. She saved Tim by drawing the Raptors' attention to herself and setting a clever trap to temporarily incapacitate the big one. She then helped Tim trap the other raptor and kept a cool head to vitally help when the big Raptor attempted to break into the control room.

Kelly Malcolm

Kelly was the adopted daughter of Ian Malcolm and Sarah Harding, as seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. She was afraid to stay in the RV when their companions brought a baby T-Rex, though this turned out to be a wise decision.

Kelly had been quite brave, though perhaps a bit reckless, to stow away on the ship headed to Isla Sorna. She also showed courage and ability during the raptor attack when she leaped onto a bar at a great height and used her gymnastic skills to kick a pursuing velociraptor away.

Zach Mitchell

The oldest of the Jurassic Park kids, Zach accompanied his brother Gray to Jurassic World in 2015. He showed very little fear, except with talking with girls as his brother called him out on. On several occasions throughout the film, he performed vital actions to keep himself and his brother alive (such as unbuckling the seat belts to escape the gyrophere as the Indominus was attacking it).

Zach was quite adventurous and encouraged his brother to ditch the nanny with him and explore outside the perimeter fence in a gyrosphere. He also helped his brother to jump off a cliff into a lake while they were being chased by the deadly Indominus Rex. The brothers together also fended off a velociraptor with a cattle prod. In comparison to the other characters, he was quite brave.

Maisie Lockwood

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Maisie Lockwood

Maisie was the presumed granddaughter of Benjamin Lockwood and lived in his estate during the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Later on, the film revealed that she was, in fact, a clone of Lockwood's daughter, who had been killed in an accident years earlier.

Maisie proved to be quite daring for her age. She snuck around the estate, including restricted areas, and made several discoveries about the genetics lab in the basement. She also inched around the narrow ledges high up at the top of the manner to escape her room, demonstrating extreme courage to face the deathly height. Isabella Sermon is set to return as Maisie in Jurassic World: Dominion and the trailer has shown her up against numerous dangers.

Eric Kirby

The first time audiences saw Eric Kirby, he and a family friend were parasailing over the coast of Isla Sorna. But as fate would have it, they were forced to cut their line and drift onto the dinosaur-inhabited island. Young Eric soon witnessed his companion's horrifying death by a dinosaur and was stranded alone on the island for 8 weeks.

In that time, he learned to survive and found shelter and supplies. He put his own life at risk to rescue Alan Grant from a pack of Velociraptors. After being united with his family, he continued to show bravery and experience as the group made it safely off the island. Eric's survival of two months on his own was truly incredible, making him by far the bravest of the Jurassic kids.
