Dwayne Johnson designed a Jungle Cruise-inspired Mickey Mouse hat for Disney World, but good luck getting one. While taking a break from the Fast & Furious world and before he suits up as DCEU anti-hero Black Adam next year, Johnson is stepping into a different kind of action movie. This Friday marks the premiere of Jungle Cruise, Disney's latest cinematic adaptation of one of its amusement park rides. After being delayed from last year by the coronavirus pandemic, Jungle Cruise will arrive both in theaters and on Disney+ via Premier Access.

Johnson stars as riverboat captain Frank Wolff, a con man who soon gets tangled in the mission of one Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt). Lily seeks to find a mystical tree with unparalleled healing abilities, and she needs Frank to act as her guide through the Amazon. What follows in Jungle Cruise is a wild adventure filled with cursed conquistadors, a scheming German prince, and plenty of thrills. Jungle Cruise also stars Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, Edgar Ramirez, and Paul Giamatti.

In honor of Jungle Cruise, Johnson designed a new pair of Mickey Mouse ears for Disney fans everywhere (via WDW News Today). The hat is in the same style as Frank's skipper cap from the film, though it also sports a familiar pair of circular ears on top. The hat just went on sale earlier this week, but it is already sold out on the official shopDisney website. Never underestimate dedicated Disney fans.

That the hats sold out before Jungle Cruise even arrived could speak to its popularity among audiences, though its true success won't be clear until the weekend. It could also just be that the chance to own a cap designed by Johnson himself was too exciting to pass up, and the limited edition supply wasn't enough to last more than a day. Should Jungle Cruise end up being a massive success, though, don't be surprised if more of these hats become available online or in the various Disney parks.

It's fitting that Jungle Cruise has received its own Mickey ears. Those hats are Disney World specials, and Jungle Cruise itself is born from a ride within the parks. The ride was recently revamped to better fit today, but it remains to be seen if there will be any kind of connection to the movie tacked on in the future. It wouldn't be surprising for the park to enlist its own Frank to lead the cruise down the river; fans will just have to wait and see what Disney has in store.
