Siesta Key has been on MTV since 2017, and as its star Juliette Porter succeeds, it's the perfect time for her to get her own spin-off. Back in 2004, when reality TV was still a new concept, MTV aired Laguna Beach. The show was so successful that a few years later, they premiered its spin-off series, The Hills. The new show followed the life and fashion career of Lauren Conrad. A decade later, MTV revisited the format, landing in the quaint Florida beach town to start filming Siesta Key. Juliette, Kelsey Owens, and Alex Kompothecras's love triangle felt very reminiscent of Lauren, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti's.

Siesta Key shares many similarities with Laguna Beach but has already been on the air longer than the California series was. Recently, many changes were made to keep the show entertaining for fans who have been watching since the cast members were barely out of high school. Some of the original cast, including Kelsey and her ex-boyfriend Garrett Miller, have been let go from Siesta Key, and star Cara Geswelli recently admitted she's not sure if the show will return for a sixth season. Meanwhile, Juliette's swimsuit company, JMP The Label, has been a massive success, and it might be her time for a Lauren moment.

Fans have loved Siesta Key since its premiere, but, like Laguna Beach, it feels like there isn't much left to see. In Siesta Key season 4, there wasn't much drama left between the friend group, and a lot of it seemed very forced. The last of the fighting was between Juliette and her ex-boyfriend Sam Logan, but fans have not been fond of him and wouldn't mind not having to see him on their screens every week. Juliette's dating life has been a big part of Siesta Key as well. Fans watched her go through heartbreak many times with Alex, Bachelor In Paradise's Robby Hayes, and Sam. As of now, Juliette is happy with her current boyfriend, Clark Drum, and it doesn't seem like they'll offer much drama to Siesta Key season 5, teased by Jordana Barnes. Still, fans adore Juliette and want her to keep inviting them into her life, maybe without some current cast members.

The Hills' Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad

Siesta Key season 5 has moved to Miami, but after filming wrapped, a lot of the cast moved back home. However, Juliette made a permanent move to the city to keep building her swimsuit brand. Fans love seeing her succeed, so a The Hills-type spinoff that follows Juliette's career would be ideal. When Lauren moved to Los Angeles, she left her high school friends and all the tired Laguna Beach storylines behind. Unfortunately, Siesta Key has been continuing the drama between Juliette and her high school friends for too long. As they grow tired of the same old drama with the same people, they're longing for a fresh start for Juliette, who gave an update on her bully, with a whole new cast around her.

A reality show can only remain relevant and entertaining for so long. Even The Hills had to say goodbye after six seasons. While Jersey Shore may be the exception, not every show can capture lightning in a bottle as they did. Juliette has a lot of potential, and she's only getting more popular with Siesta Key fans. Before it's too late, and fans grow tired of the series, it would be a smart move for MTV to give Juliette her own spinoff.
