Netflix's new musical comedy Julie And The Phantoms has a soundtrack full of original songs featuring the voices of its talented cast. Based on the Brazilian show Julie e os Fantasmas, the Netflix series follows Julie as she comes to terms with her mother's death with the help of ghostly musicians Luke, Reggie, and Alex. Julie And The Phantoms is executive-produced and directed by Kenny Ortega, who also directed the High School Musical trilogy, and every episodes features great original songs and show-stopping dance numbers.

The music in Julie And The Phantoms blends crowd-pleasing rock songs with stadium anthems, and is bursting with theatricality at every turn. Julie, played by Madison Reyes, has been unable to make music since her mother died, but begins writing songs again after meeting the ghostly musicians of the band Sunset Curve: Luke, Reggie, and AlexMeanwhile, Cheyenne Jackson rounds out the cast as Caleb Covington, the ghostly owner of the Hollywood Ghost Club trying to recruit the bows to work for him.

Back in 1995, three members of the band Sunset Curve die unexpectedly after eating contaminated hot dogs shortly before their show at the Orpheum. In 2020, Julie is coping with the loss of her mother when three ghostly musicians appear in her house.

"Now or Never" by Doug Rockwell & Tova Litvin - Sunset Curve rehearses the song at the beginning of the episode in preparation for their big show at the Orpheum that evening.

"Wake Up" by Anne Preven - Julie sings the song her late mother wrote for her while sitting in her garage at the end of the episode.

After Julie is kicked out of the music program for not participating due to her grief, the ghosts team up and perform with her at the school assembly to help her get back in.
