Judgment, a detective-oriented spinoff of the Yakuza series, brings players back to Kamurocho, Tokyo once again. The bustling, fictional Japanese city of Kamurocho holds a slew of secrets for players to find. Judgment's protagonist, Takayuki Yagami, seeks to redeem his reputation in Kamurocho by solving an important murder case. Along the way, players will use classic Yakuza beat-'em-up style gameplay, not turn-based RPG gameplay, to dispatch enemies. Players must level up Yagami with SP to maximize his effectiveness in street fights, detective work, and the game in general.
The process of leveling up and gaining new skills is different in each Yakuza game. Judgment, naturally, is different in the way it requires players to level up. Players must gain SP, which is basically experience points, throughout their adventures in Kamurocho. These SP points can be used to upgrade abilities in several skill trees. Gaining SP can be a slow grind if players don't know how to do it properly. Luckily, there is one surefire way to get SP fast and efficiently. Here’s how to get more SP in Judgment (the fast way).
How to Farm More SP in Judgment
There is a multitude of ways to get more SP in Judgment. Players can get small amounts of SP by defeating enemies or engaging in detective side cases, but the best method for farming SP in Judgment requires players to reach at least Chapter 6 in the main story. Once players reach Chapter 6, they will have access to extract crafting (unlocked in Chapter 5) and the Quickstarter crowdfunding app.
Using the Quickstarter app, invest in all possible Hug Bomb drink investments. These investments cost quite a bit of yen, but it’s more than worth it for all the SP. After players invest enough into Hug Bombs, the Hug Bomb Omega will be unlocked. The Hug Bomb Omega is available at Poppo for 140,000 yen once it is unlocked for purchase. Players must then visit Iyama to create Extract Recipe: Growth, which is available as a recipe once extract crafting is unlocked. The Growth Extract increases the amount of SP received by 10% for 180 seconds. Each Hug Bomb Omega will immediately grant players 770 SP per Hug Bomb, but if players drink a Growth Extract beforehand, the Hug Bomb Omega will grant players 847 SP.
By utilizing money effectively and investing in Hug Bombs, players can farm SP quickly to upgrade their abilities. New abilities enable players to get the upper hand, not only in battle but in every aspect of their adventures. While SP will not make players better at playing Judgment, it does make players more likely to succeed in the streets of Kamurocho. With the release of Judgment's sequel, Lost Judgment, looming on the horizon, returning players will be ahead of the curve if they know how to get more SP!
