Josh Duhamel got his start in the industry when he entered a modeling contest and won Male Model of the Year. Josh did some more modeling as he auditioned and took acting classes in Los Angeles until eventually, he booked the role of Leo du Prep on the daytime soap opera All My Children.  Duhamel gained a lot of viewers and critical acclaim for his work on the show, winning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor.

This anthology feature film is comprised of fourteen different segments, with each having their own director and their own cast. In the twelfth segment, Josh Duhamel plays Anson, who is the proud owner of an animated cat named Beezel. Beezel has "Jekyll and Hyde" personalities, which is starting to come between Anson and his girlfriend Amy, played by Elizabeth Banks.

Eventually, Amy loses her battle with Beezel and ends up being killed by a group of school children who come to the cat's defense.

New Year's Eve (7%)

New Year's Eve is the second installment in an unofficial franchise from director Gary Marshall, who directed three separate movies with star-studded ensemble casts, set on one particular holiday.

In this film, Josh Duhamel plays Sam Ahern, Jr. who is set to give a big speech at his company's New Year's Eve ball. While prepping his speech, Sam wonders about a mysterious woman he met the last New Year's Eve, by the end of the film, Sam has met this woman again and it's clear she's been looking for him too.

Safe Haven (13%)

Josh Duhamel stars in this Nicholas Sparks' book-turned-feature film with Julianne Hough. In the movie, Josh plays Alex, a recently widowed father of two, who owns a general store where he meets Erin, played by Hough.

Alex and Erin begin a relationship, but Alex doesn't know that Erin has been fleeing her abusive ex. The two bond over their traumas and help each other through it after Alex helps Erin fight off her ex when he eventually finds her.

When In Rome (17%)

When in Rome is a romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel. Kristen plays Beth, a successful art curator who flies to Italy to attend her sister's wedding and meets Nick, played by Josh Duhamel. Beth falls for Nick, but after seeing him with another woman, gets drunk and makes a wish by throwing coins into the fountain of love, causing a number of male suitors to fall for Beth, who is now on a mission to break the spell.

Life As We Know It (29%)

Katherine Heigl stars opposite Josh Duhamel in this romantic comedy about two people who dislike each other being forced to come together after tragedy strikes their best friends.

Holly and Messer are godparents to their friends', Peter and Allison, daughter, Sophia. When Peter and Allison are killed in a car accident, Holly and Messer must find a way to get along and raise a child together. Of course, they fall in unlikely love along the way.

Win A Date With Tad Hamilton (54%)

Win A Date With Tad Hamilton.

This is one of Duhamel's more loved romantic comedies with him playing the title characters, Tad Hamilton. Tad Hamiton is a movie star and Rosalee Futch, played by Kate Bosworth is just your small-town, average girl, until she wins a date with Tad Hamilton, sending her love life in an entirely new and very public direction.

Rosalee eventually has a big decision to make, if she's going to choose a life of fame and fortune with Tad or stick to her hometown roots and fall for her best friend, Pete, played by Topher Grace.

Transformers (58%)

The Transformers franchise began in the 1980s, but was revived in recent years as a series of science fiction, action films directed by Michael Bay. Josh Duhamel has appeared as one of the main protagonists, Lennox, in four of these films.

In the first installment, Transformers, released in 2007, Lennox discovers the world of the Transformers while stationed in Qatar as a colonel for the United States Army.

Scenic Route (67%)

This psychological thriller stars Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler as two friends who have lost touch and decide to take a road trip to rebuild their relationship.

While driving, their car breaks down, which sets off a series of events that force these two friends to face both their inner demons and their old grudges. The film's ending leaves viewers wondering what actually happened to these two men while on the road and if what they're seeing is actually reality.

Ramona And Beezus (70%)

This children's adventure comedy stars Joey King as Ramona and Selena Gomez as her older sister "Beezus" short for Beatrice. The film is based on the Ramona books written by Beverly Cleary, and mostly adapted from the final two books of the series.

In this film, Ramona and Beezus are navigating their youth and each other when they get a visit from their aunt, Bea, played by Ginnifer Goodwin. Bea herself has a surprising encounter when she runs into her old flame, Hobart, played by Duhamel.

Love, Simon (91%)

Love, Simon premiered in 2018 to very high praise from both critics and audiences alike. The film, based on the novel, "Simon vs. the Homo Sapian's Agenda" is about a boy named Simon trying to navigate all the normal thing high school boys deal with, while also uncovering the unidentified classmate trying to out his sexuality and discover the identity of his crush, whom he's been talking to online.

In the film, Josh Duhamel plays Simon's father, Jack.
