Far before the Jonas Brothers returned to the spotlight, they were starring in their own TV show on the Disney Channel. Jonas (also known as Jonas L.A. during its second season) had the brothers portraying fictional versions of themselves as they navigated high school, rock star life, and girls.

Though the brothers revealed that their involvement with the show (which aired from 2009 to 2010) wasn’t as positive as it might have appeared to viewers, we thought it was still worth going back and remembering those early days.

Every episode from both of Jonas’ seasons has been assigned a star rating on IMDb based on the votes of registered users on a scale of 1 to 10. Using these stats, we’ll be looking at how the episodes stack up according to users at time of publication.

With that said, here are the best episodes of Jonas according to the fans at IMDb.

Fashion Victim (7.8)

This Season 1 episode had Stella going on a date with Van Dyke and Joe coming down with a major case of jealousy. Joe cuts her date short by claiming that there is a fashion emergency, which she rushes back to solve. When she realizes that there was no real issue and that he was simply trying to sabotage her date, she picks out a rediculous outfit for Joe to meet the queen in as revenge. The quirky plot and teenage tension was more than we could have asked for.

House Party (7.8)

The Season 2 premiere had the boys along with Stella and Macy moving from New Jersey to L.A. for the summer. They decide to celebrate their new life in California by throwing an epic house party and get busy making plans.

Joe is excited about seeing Stella again and decides to ask her to be his girlfriend when she arrives. This doesn't happen, however, after Joe bumps into actress Vanessa Page and Stella misunderstands their interaction with each other. This leads her to tell Joe she wants to be "just friends."

This set the stage for all the Season 2 drama to follow.

Back To The Beach (7.9)

The second episode of Jonas L.A. had Joe auditioning for a movie known as Forever April. Problem is, all the actors look like clones of him, and this causes Joe to become incredibly nervous. Meanwhile, Macy and a pro surfer start to hit it off. This causes Nick to become jealous and soon realize he has feelings for her. Both of these storylines in which the brothers navigated their own romances made "Back to the Beach" funny and sweet.

Cold Shoulder (7.9)

Kevin's ex-girlfriend Anya heads back to the brothers’ high school. Problem is, her outgoing and quirky personality has her classmates making fun of her. The secondary plot has Nick, Joe, and Macy sleuthing out the person that keeps posting unflattering pictures of them. The one-liners were incredible, and the rare Kevin-centric episode was welcome. He even got to sing lead vocals on the featured song!

Detention (7.9)

Joe wants to prove to his friend Abby that he doesn’t get special treatment just because he’s a member of Jonas, so when she gets detention, he tries to get it, too. Unfortunately, his plan backfires. Once he eventually does work his way in, Nick and Kevin show up to remind Joe that they need him out due to an untimely deadline set for the band. The competing goals helped drive the plot forward and fill "Detention" with content that was worth laughing about.

Keeping It Real (7.9)

This Season 1 episode had the guys doing their best to prove that they could live average lives. Turns out this is a difficult feat when you’re part of a popular boy band.

This hilarious episode had the gang constantly being chased by screaming fans. It also saw Kevin, Nick, and Joe pretending to be doctors (and failing massively) in an attempt to escape the crowds. Did we mention that they also came up with some creative ways to take out the trash? Watch it, and you'll see what we're talking about.

Chasing The Dream (8.1)

The highest-rated episode of Season 1 saw Kevin offering Macy the chance to lay down some backing tracks on the next Jonas album. Things get uncomfortable really fast after it turns out Macy is such a bad singer, animal control was called during a softball game because they thought her ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ wails were from an injured manattee on the field.

The quirky plot left fans with lots of funny moments and a positive message about doing what you love.

On The Radio (8.1)

This Season 2 episode had the boys joining together to do a radio interview in an attempt to prove that they were still a band. This backfires, however, when it is revealed that they’re all pursuing separate passions.

Kevin is getting into directing with David Henrie, Nick is making a new song with Montra, and Joe is headed overseas to act in a Forever April sequel. This story built the tension really high and had fans craving a satisfying finale. Thankfully, that’s exactly what they got.

Band Of Brothers (8.5)

The final episode of Jonas L.A. had the guys planning a secret show for their fans to prove that they weren’t breaking up. Yes, the real break up occurred just a few years later, but we don’t have to think about that now.

As the boys get busy, Stella debates about her place in Joe’s life when she discovers he has to travel to New Zealand to shoot the sequel to Forever April. This causes the episode to end in one giant romantic gesture in which Joe chases Stella to the airport and finally gives her the kiss we’d all been waiting for.

Up In The Air (8.6)

The highest-rated episode of Jonas has Stella working on costuming in Forever April and Nick debating about what to get Macy for their one-month anniversary. The first storyline had Joe and Stella’s relationship taking major steps, as he eventually realizes that Vanessa is trying to sabotage his best friend relationship with Stella. This has Joe breaking up with Vanessa by the end.

Meanwhile, the Nick-Macy plotline was cute and charming, proving just how perfect their relationship could be. Kevin joins Nick on his mission to get a gift for Macy and we can’t ever argue with a sprinkling of off-beat Kevin quotes.
