Harley Quinn and the Joker's new girlfriend Punchline are about to come face-to-face on the streets of Gotham. Harley has long since moved on from the Joker and his abuse after putting up with him for years. Up until recently, the Joker hadn't found anyone to fill the Harley-sized hole in his world - until he met Punchline, a villain who is Quinn's polar opposite. Now, Harley and Punchline are about to meet for the very first time.

Punchline is a brand new villainous character created by James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez. Punchline is a cold, calculated serial killer who the Joker finds to be one of the funniest people he knows - because of course, he sees murder as being funny. Her DC Comics debut was met with an extreme amount of hype, as her debut comics immediately sold out and were reselling for absurd prices - despite the character still being relatively undeveloped. Punchline has barely been given any lines of dialogue, but the character's been uber-popular as her look and relationship to DC's most notable villain have surely played a part in her becoming a breakout success.

The Joker will be sending Punchline to take on some of his foes as the upcoming 'Joker Wars' story-arc is almost here. Punchline is going to play a key part in Tynion IV and Jimenez's Batman arc, so it comes as no surprise the character is continually being hyped up. Ahead of Punchline's meeting with Harley Quinn, DC Comics revealed two new covers for Batman that feature the Clown Prince of Crime, Harley Quinn and Punchline by artist Francesco Mattina's for Batman #93 and Batman #94. In the images, Punchline is ready to get her stabbing on as the Joker caresses her arm. Meanwhile, in the second cover, Harley Quinn (who appeared to be wearing a Joker mask) and her trusted mallet are ready to smash both Punchline and the Joker.

Check out the covers for Batman #93 and #94.
