Here’s how to watch every episode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure online and whether it’s available to stream with Netflix, Hulu or Prime. Based on Hirohiko Araki’s long-running manga, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an anime series produced by animation studio David Production that premiered in Japan back in 2013 and began airing in the US in 2016 as part of Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block. The series chronicles the fittingly bizarre adventures of the Joestar clan – a family that possesses special powers and is destined to battle the supernatural forces that plague their world.

Four seasons of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have been released so far and each one is set in a different era that focuses on different descendants of the Joestar family. Season 2, for example, is set in the late 1980s and follows the character of Jotaro Kujo – the great-great-grandson of original JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure protagonist Jonathan Joestar – as he travels to Egypt to defeat his family’s old enemy Dio Brando. The anime’s most recent season, meanwhile, takes place in Italy during the early 2000s and follows fellow Joestar clan member Giorno Giovanna as he joins a Mafia gang that he intends to take control of.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure season 5 is set to premiere worldwide on Netflix in December 2021. The upcoming season is adapting the Stone Ocean arc of Araki’s original manga series which is set in Florida in 2011 and focuses on Jotaro Kujo’s estranged daughter Jolyne Cujoh, who has been framed for a murder she didn’t commit by a disciple of the Joestar family’s archenemy Dio. Before season 5 arrives on Netflix, where can fans of anime watch the first four seasons of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in full?

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Hulu currently has seasons 1 through 3 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in its library and Prime subscribers can access all four seasons of the series apart from the first half of its second season. However, watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures with Prime isn’t currently included with the cost of membership. The best way to watch JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure online in full is with Netflix which has the first three seasons, with season 4 set to be available from November 2021.

David Production’s take on Hirohiko Araki’s manga series isn’t the only adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure out there. Back in the early 1990s, animation studio A.P.P.P. produced a 13-episode OVA series based on the manga’s Stardust Crusaders storyline and more recently, Japanese director Takashi Miike helmed a live-action film released in 2017 that was based on its Diamond Is Unbreakable arc.
