Keanu Reeves is back in action with a new John Wick: Chapter 4 trailer. Alongside Reeves, the star-studded cast for John Wick: Chapter 4 includes Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, McShane, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Shamier Anderson and George Georgiou.

With just over a month remaining until the film's arrival, Lionsgate have unveiled the final John Wick: Chapter 4 trailer.

The video highlights more of the epic action coming from the fourquel as Reeves' beloved protagonist fights his way through more rival assassins as he battles his way both to freedom and to his ultimate target, Skarsgård's The Marquis de Gramont. The trailer also spotlights the new dog joining in Reeves' quest for freedom in John Wick: Chapter 4.

What The John Wick 4 Final Trailer Revealed For The Sequel

Keanu Reeves as John Wick in John Wick Chapter 4

One of the more interesting takeaways from the final John Wick: Chapter 4 trailer is the reveal that Reeves' eponymous assassin will return to the desert and face off against The Elder. Previously portrayed by Saïd Taghmaoui, the character appeared in John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum and was the sole person who sat above the High Table, and as such could grant John his freedom, though it required John having to kill Ian McShane's Winston and sever his ring finer and give his ring to the Elder to prove his fealty. As expected, John did not go through with it, but instead worked with Winston to fight off the High Table, only for his friend to seemingly turn on him at the end in order to get back in the High Table's favor.

Now played by George Georgiou, the Elder appears to be one of Reeves' major targets heading into John Wick: Chapter 4 in the desert. Though Reeves drawing his gun on the Elder could be a misdirect, it seems just as likely that he would be keen on killing the High Table boss in his quest to finally be rid of the assassin organization. With director Chad Stahelski previously teasing the film would feature both a "cool and emotional" ending, it seems possible the desert scene could be how the threequel closes out, with Wick finally victorious.

The other exciting takeaway from the final John Wick: Chapter 4 trailer is the reveal of Reeves' character getting yet another new dog, this time a German Shepherd. With the breed of dog having previously been a major figure in John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum paired with Halle Berry's Sofia, it will be interesting to see if she gifted one of her dogs in her being absent from the threequel. The wait for answers is nearly over as John Wick: Chapter 4 hits theaters on March 24.
