Jason Mantzoukas bragged about John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum toppling Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame at the box office. Upon its arrival in theaters, Avengers: Endgame has dominated all competition, shattering records in the process. An unsurprising feat, given that it serves as both an end of an era and concluded the sprawling 11-year saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far. Since its release last week, however, the John Wick franchise proved every bit as formidable as the lethal titular character, nabbing the top spot in its opening week.

After breaking the rules of his organization by killing somebody on The Continental hotel grounds, John Wick is labeled "Excommunicado." With a $14 million bounty on his head, and every assassin in the world wanting to collect, John is forced to go on the run. John Wick: Chapter 3 stars Keanu Reeves, reprising his role as the legendary assassin. Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Laurence Fishburne also returned to their previous roles. Along the way, John Wick encounters new faces to the franchise, including Halle Berry's Sofia, Anjelica Huston as The Director, and Mantzoukas's ominously named Tick Tock Man.

Speaking with Conan O'Brien on CONAN, Mantzoukas expressed the thrill of being in the number one movie in the country. He revealed himself to be especially excited at being in the film that finally managed to knock Avengers: Endgame down to second place. "Not for nothing, but we just decimated The Avengers this week," he said, adding, "We just crushed them!" Whether or not his wordplay was intentional, given that Thanos' universe altering snap in The Avengers films was known as The Decimation, his comments immediately received a round of applause from the audience. "Yeah!" he continued. "Take that, Thor!" Mantzoukas is mostly known for his comedic work, having enjoyed recurring roles on such acclaimed comedies as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place. As such, his comments are undoubtedly tongue-in-cheek, with the actor himself admitting he loves the Avengers. Check out the full interview below:

Mantzoukas goes on to offer his hilarious take on where the John Wick franchise will go next. According to an "exclusive," he reveals that John Wick: Chapter 4 will be subtitled Wick and The Tick and will feature the characters pairing up for all manner of hijinks. One such situation will see them go on a double date, which, in true John Wick fashion, will not go very well - mostly due to John's dog and Tick Tock Man's own pet: a parrot. The scenario feels somewhat similar to what fans saw recently in the trailer for Always Be My Maybe, which featured a brilliant cameo from Reeves himself.

It's no surprise that John Wick was the franchise to finally defeat The Avengers. Although the first installment came out of nowhere to become a surprise hit, the beautifully violent saga has since gone on to become an immensely popular and profitable juggernaut. Each film has only built upon and surpassed its predecessor, with some calling John Wick: Chapter 3 the best one yet. Reeves has previously revealed how he would end the franchise, yet with a spinoff centered on The Continental in the works and John Wick 4 already confirmed,  the man known as Baba Yaga will not be putting away his guns any time soon. As such, it's more than understandable for Mantzoukas, who is an admitted fan of the film series, to be as celebrating being a part of John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum and its accomplishment as audiences clearly have been to watch it.
