Carolyn Moore and Amanda Pace seem to be feuding over their connections with Kurt Sowers on Joe Millionaire, but a new picture suggests that they've made amends. Carolyn made an immediate connection with Kurt on the premiere episode of the show, seemingly shutting out any chance of connecting with bachelor #2, Steven McBee. The pair went on their first solo date when Carolyn won the week's "gold-digging" challenge, and it appeared that the two were sure they'd end up together. The contestant returned home from her bowling date in a state of bliss, causing worry amongst the other girls who hadn't made a strong connection yet.
While the two seemed like a match made in heaven, Carolyn insisted Kurt should get to know the other girls since that was what he had gone on the show for. However, when Kurt took her advice, she was no longer so encouraging. Carolyn's advice led the bachelor to make another connection with Amanda causing Carolyn to become extremely jealous and resentful. The pair also seem to have some issues discussing a crucial part of the contestant's life, namely the son she shares and co-parents with her ex-husband.
While all the girls initially seemed to get along, the Carolyn-Amanda-Kurt love triangle seemed to cause a stir between the girls; however, according to Carolyn's recent Twitter post, this may not be the case at all. The Twitter photo shows Carolyn, Amanda, and fellow contestant Annie getting ready to board a plane to go meet Kurt and Steven's parents. The three look very close, contrary to how they appear on the show. With their arms wrapped around each other, the women seem to enjoy each other's company very much and are seemingly good friends.
In last week's episode of Joe Millionaire, the contestants' parents joined them at the manor to meet Kurt and Steven so that the men could learn more about the contestants and their families. While Carolyn's parents couldn't make it, her best friend came instead and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the contestant. On the other hand, Amanda's parents revealed some mind-blowing news, most notably that she's worth more money than Steven. In the upcoming episode, tables are turning, and it is Kurt and Steven's parents who will guest star on the show. According to the teaser shown after last week's episode, Kurt's mom seems to have some concerns about Carolyn.
It seems like, despite Carolyn and Amanda's fight to win Kurt's heart, the two women are not enemies. In fact, Carolyn hasn't been too happy with her villainous edit on the show and has taken to social media many times to prove she is not about pitting women against each other over a guy. Judging by this new picture, Carolyn and Amanda seem to get along just fine in real life and their animosity might be played by the show's editors for effect. Whether Carolyn or Amanda win Kurt over or not, there's no bad blood between the contestants.
