Daniele Gates from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 is going to, “manifest” her life in the Dominican Republic with Yohan Geronimo, but in the U.S., she works hard at multiple jobs, so she can afford an apartment that costs $4000 per month. The 42-year-old single mom from New York was first introduced in the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, Love In Paradise: The Caribbean season 2. In that installment, she married 32-year-old Yohan. Daniele admitted that she'd lived a, “hard” life in NYC for 15 years. In the Big Apple, some of her relationships were troubled.

Daniele became a mom at the age of 21. Her son Thomas is currently 22 years old, and he was born in December 2000. 90 Day Fiancé's Daniele married her ex-husband when she was 26 years old, but that union lasted for only six months. Since then, she's had two live-in boyfriends. Because things didn't work out with them, Daniele swore off dating for a few years. During a solo trip to the DR, Daniele found her second husband, Yohan. The 32-year-old man was working as a personal trainer at the hotel where Daniel was staying. They bumped into each other in the lobby, and Daniele pointed at him, saying, “I’m going to marry this man.”

"I have been a high school history teacher for 19 years," Daniele told the cameras in the first episode, referring to her work at the NYC Department of Education. However, because one job doesn't bring in enough money for 90 Day Fiancé's Daniele to make ends meet in the U.S., she also has a side hustle. The reality star is a holistic wellness coach. She has her own brand, Yinsa. Daniele, who practices Ifá (a Yoruba religion and divination system) has an official business website, where she writes, “I’m an educator and mentor to students around the world, using the ancient traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda as my lens.”

Over the past 15 years, Daniele, who attended Stony Brook University and got a Master’s degree in Sociology/Interdisciplinary Race Studies, as per LinkedIn, has studied Spiritual traditions, including Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, Herbalism, ATRs, and Astrology. Daniele has studied for over 1000 hours, and she’s rightfully called a, “yoga fairy” by her friends. Her passion for Bikram yoga began when 90 Day Fiancé celeb Daniele was looking for balance in her life as a single parent, while teaching in NYC-based public schools.

Daniele coined the term, “Yinsa” in a high school science classroom. It was originally meant to be a blend of Yin Yoga and Essential Oils. In Yinsa, she combines the basic principles of the, “dance between Yin and Yang.” It’s also an Ayurvedic wellness lifestyle consisting of daily self-care rituals, lifestyle changes, and regular yoga and meditation. Daniele has also developed a range of Ayurvedic skincare products. Her goal is simple, “to help people learn to embrace their individuality and find balance from within.

What Work Does 90 Day Fiancé Star Daniele Do In Dominican Republic

Daniele received flak from 90 Day Fiancé fans for leaving her teaching job, and giving up the $15000 pension that she was going to receive when she turned 63 years old. She did so in order to move in with Yohan in the DR. However, on her Instagram, Daniele explained that she has investment plans in place, which will give her, “$100,000 in equity in real estate in two years.” She added that staying in the teaching job is not worth the, “trauma” that comes with it.

Daniele leads wellness retreats. In February 2023, she will be conducting one in Boca de Chavon, Dominican Republic. Apart from her two main sources of income, she earns a paycheck per episode from 90 Day Fiancé, which is rumored to be between $1000-$1500. She is also an Instagram influencer, and has recently launched a Cameo. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Daniele knows what she’s doing, and it’ll be interesting to see where her career in the Dominican Republic takes her, or if she eventually decides to come back to the States.
