Jim Edmonds and his new fiancée, Kortnie O'Conner, have slammed his ex and The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King following her wedding to Cuffe Biden Owens. Viewers may remember Jim and Meghan's relationship during the three seasons she was on the Bravo series. Fans were taken aback by Jim's absence from their Orange County home and his lack of compassion during her IVF journey. Nonetheless, Meghan was determined to make their marriage work.
Unfortunately, after five years of marriage and three children, Meghan decided to file for divorce from the ex-MLB player. The former reality star confessed that she discovered Jim had been unfaithful during their marriage, and it was difficult for her to move on. Since then, she and Jim had been at odds with them both throwing jabs at each other online and in the press. While Meghan has not spoken of him once, Jim cannot seem to keep Meghan out of his mouth.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Jim and Kortnie spoke out on Meghan and her surprise wedding to Cuffe. While Jim unsurprisingly had a lot to say about Meghan, so did Kortnie. When asked about the 37-year-old's nuptials to President Joe Biden's nephew, Kortnie, who was mocked for engagement to Jim, said, "It’s hard to say anything [about Meghan] because it’s hard to say anything nice." She continued, "She’s been such a nightmare to deal with." As for Jim, he confessed that he felt nothing, good or bad, towards Meghan and her whirlwind romance with Cuffe. "It’s like a stranger getting married. I have no connection to her," he added. His ex-wife reportedly called him the night before to let him know about her upcoming wedding.
Jim said he thought it was "a joke" at first since they had only been dating for four weeks. He assumed the couple was pregnant; however, that has not been confirmed. Jim, who threw shade at Joe Biden, isn't too happy about Meghan's new marriage for several reasons. Not only is he shocked by marrying a man she had only met four weeks prior, but he is the nephew of a president he doesn't support. Jim, who is a vocal Trump supporter, recently posed for a photo with his daughter Hayley on her Instagram, wearing T-shirts that said "Anti Biden Social Club." The 51-year-old is probably not too pleased that his ex got married before he did. Jim proposed to Kortnie in the summer shortly after he finalized his divorce from Meghan. Kortnie announced their engagement on Instagram a month after he popped the question.
Even though Jim and Kortnie, who are engaged, had nothing nice to say regarding Meghan's wedding, the couple is looking forward to planning their own wedding. It seems as though The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her new Democratic husband will not be in attendance.
