In the film, Jessica Walter plays Doris Zimmerman, a conniving rich woman who falls in love with the family's father, but demands that he send his children back to the East Coast to live with their mother.

Harley Quinn (2019 - Present) - 8.5

Harley Quinn is a cartoon that follows the antics of Quinn after leaving her boyfriend, the Joker. In the series, Quinn is voiced by Kaley Cuoco of Big Bang Theory fame, and the show been praised by audiences and critics alike.

In a season 2 episode, Jessica Walter guest-starred as the villainess Granny Goodness. The character was originated in the 70s and was modeled after insult comic Phyllis Diller. Walter is one of many famous guests the series has been able to attract.

The Big Bang Theory (2001) - 8.1

In one of the most memorable The Big Bang Theory episodes, "The Benefactor Factor," Jessica Walter plays Mrs. Latham, a wealthy and somewhat sadistic benefactor that Sheldon and Leonard are trying to get to fund their research.

At the end of the episode, even after getting the funds for their project, Leonard realizes he's actually attracted to Mrs. Latham and accompanies her on a date.

Star Vs The Forces Of Evil (2015 - 2019) - 8.0

Star is a princess from another dimension filled with monsters and magic. She is sent to Earth to clean up her reckless behavior but ends up traveling throughout the universe getting herself into all sorts of trouble.

In the show, Walter plays Miss Heinous, the headmistress of St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses, a boarding school for misbehaved heiresses. Despite being a cartoon on the Disney Channel, the series developed a devout cult following among adult viewers.

Jennifer Falls (2014) - 5.8

Though the TV Land series only lasted one season, Walter's performance was hailed as a constant scene-stealer. In the series, Jennifer (Jaime Pressly) loses her high-paying job in the big city and is forced to move home to live with her mother, Maggie (Jessica Walter).

Maggie is quick to point out Jennifer's flaws with all the wit and passive-aggressive hilarity that Walter's characters are known for.

Good Girls (2018 - Present) - 7.9

Good Girls is about three mothers who desperately need money. After turning to crime, they realize it can be quite lucrative. One of the main characters is Beth, (Christina Hendricks). She's married to her deadbeat husband, Dean (Matthew Lillard), and is forced to deal with his disapproving mother, played by none other than Jessica Walter.

90210 (2008 - 2009) - 6.1

In the Beverly Hills 90210 reboot, Walter played Tabitha Wilson, the matriarch of the Wilson family. Her character is a former actress and current alcoholic who lives in the shadow of her past fame.

As per usual, Walter brought her cynicism and snideness to the character, instantly becoming a fan-favorite. In fact, in a review by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette, one TV critic said that Walter was, "One of the main reasons to watch the series."

Dinosaurs (1991 - 1994) - 7.4

Dinosaurs was like a raunchy Roseanne with dinosaurs. It was about a working-class family (that just happen to be dinosaurs living some 60 million years ago) trying to get by. The series was full of incredibly hilarious dialogue, much of which was not kid-friendly. But because the show starred dinosaurs, it was common for viewers of all ages to watch and fall in love with the show.

Better yet, it provides for great rewatching to fans who were younger at the time, who as grown-ups, will now pick up on jokes they didn't as kids. In the show, Walter played Fran, the family's mother.

Archer (2009 - Present) - 8.6

Sterling Archer is an agent at ISIS (International Secret Intelligence Service), which is run by his mother, Malory (Jessica Walter). The relationship between Sterling and his mother is incredibly dysfunctional, and Malory is greedy, selfish, racist, homophobic, and xenophobic.

Arrested Development (2003 - 2006 / 2013 - 2019) - 8.7

Easily the pinnacle role of Walter's career, in Arrested Development, she plays Lucile Bluth, the sometimes absent mother of the Bluth family. The series follows the Bluths as they gain and lose their fortune due to corruption frivolous spending.

Much like Walter's character in Archer, Lucile is a greedy, selfish woman full of prejudice and bigotry. She's meant to symbolize the gaudy, tacky wealth that resides in California's Orange County. For her role, Walter has been nominated for an Emmy and two SAG awards.
