Jersey Shore fans are accusing Vinny Guadagnino of being obsessed with his co-star Angelina Pivarnick. After Vinny tweeted about Angelina during the premiere of the newest season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans started to think that Vinny is no longer kidding about wanting to date Angelina. Vinny and Angelina have had a unique love/hate relationship for years. Although they have never actually dated, the two did once have a drunken hook-up during the original series.
While Vinny is the last remaining single roommate of the bunch, Angelina got married back in 2019, as seen on the show. The Jersey Shore star married Chris Larangeira, whom she had known for years prior to dating. Earlier this year, rumors began to swirl claiming that Angelina and Chris were headed for divorce. During the first two episodes of the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, viewers began to get an inside look at the couple's marital issues, including Chris briefly moving out of their shared home.
Typically, during new episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, most of the cast will take to Twitter to talk about the episode with fans. Although Angelina opted out of tweeting for a majority of the season 4 premiere, Vinny did in fact interact with fans. As viewers watched the drama unfold between Angelina and Chris, Vinny tweeted, "Don’t worry Angelina if it doesn’t work out, you always have me." This tweet led fans to think that Vinny is actually obsessed with Angelina. They no longer think Vinny is just joking about wanting to be with Angelina. One Reddit user wrote, "He has a little weird crush on her and you can tell." They also pointed out that Vinny does not actually follow Angelina on Instagram; however, the Jersey Shore star oftentimes searches her name in order to comment on her posts.
Many fans are nearly certain Vinny has a real crush on Angelina. In the Reddit thread, users pulled together different factors that have led them to believe Vinny is obsessed with Angelina. For example, in the premiere episode, Vinny yelled at Angelina, cussing at her, because she had arrived late; however, it was not out of anger. In fact, Vinny had a smile on his face, laughing the whole time. It was obvious that he was simply messing around with her. One user compared this to the old saying that if a boy teases or pushes a girl on the school playground, it means he has a crush on her. Although many fans would still love to see Jersey Shore's Vinny and Angelina get together, claiming they would be a good couple, it is highly unlikely due to the amount of jokes the relationship would bring on amongst the group.
As of now, Angelina and Chris are perceived as still being together, despite their past issues. She recently revealed that the two are taking things day by day as the Jersey Shore couple recovers from the added stresses the Covid-19 pandemic put onto their relationship. Earlier this week, Angelina posted a photo alongside Chris as they were out at a local bar celebrating his birthday. Fans will have to continue to tune in every "jerzday" to watch the drama continue to unfold.
