Polizzi is a completely different person than she was when Jersey Shore, the original MTV reality show, premiered in 2009. Back then, she was doing backflips on the dance floor and grinding on strangers after multiple Vodka Redbulls. Now, she's a wife - she married Jionni LaValle in 2014 - and the mother of three kids, six-year-old Lorenzo, four-year-old Giovanna, and two-month-old Angelo - and only occasionally does backflips on the dance floor after multiple Vodka Redbulls. While she still lets loose on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Polizzi has an earlier bedtime than usual nowadays, and she recently explained why she refused to sleep at the house with the rest of the roommates.
In a video on her YouTube channel, Polizzi addressed a clip TMZ released of her storming out of the Jersey Shore house one night, screaming about going home to her kids. While the tabloid claimed it was a blowout fight between her and co-star Angelina Pivarnik, Polizzi set the record straight. The star explained that she refused to sleep at the Jersey Shore house because she's more into breast pumps now than fist pumps. The reality TV star had just given birth to her third child, Angelo, two months before filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, and was having a hard time being away from him.
While she couldn't really say much, since she has to encourage fans to watch it all unfold on the show, Polizzi said she had "anxiety" around the fact that she just had a child and that she didn't want to leave him alone. She added that going out all day and every night with her roommates isn't something she does often and she had a really difficult time adjusting. Due to her extreme anxiety, Polizzi decided to go home each night after filming wrapped and take care of her three kids. In the clip TMZ shared, Polizzi explained that Pivarnik had just come at her about something, but she wouldn't say what, and Polizzi said she didn't leave her kids for this "high school drama."
So far this season, Pivarnik - who left the series in the beginning of Season 1 and made an awkward return this year - has been the source of a lot of drama in the house. This isn't surprising, considering she was the source of a lot of drama on Season 1, too. But fans will have to wait and tune into Jersey Shore: Family Vacation to find out what exactly went down between her and Polizzi - and what causes Polizzi to storm out in the middle of the night.
