Longtime Jersey Shore viewers remember Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's infamous arrest on the show. During the original series, Nicole was a wild, partying "meatball." She was always ready for a good time; however, at times, Nicole would go on drinking binges during which she would be drunk for days on end. Ultimately, those drinking sprees inevitably led to her getting into some type of trouble.
Because she always had a large and fun personality, Nicole was instantly a breakout star on the show. Fans loved her from the first moment she walked into the shore house. So much so, many began to not only dress up like her on Halloween, but they also began to mold their day-to-day styles around Nicole's fashion sense on the show. However, Nicole wasn't always a good role model for fans to look up to.
During season 3 of the original series, Nicole was arrested for public intoxication. Just moments before being taken into custody, Nicole was stumbling on the beach with her best friends, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Deena Cortese, chasing after her. This was where her iconic line, "Where's the beach," originated. For years, fans have wondered what Nicole was drinking the day of her infamous arrest. Eleven years after the incident, Nicole has finally revealed her choice of drink that day. On Twitter, Nicole shared the lengthy list of beverages she was consuming at the bar that ultimately led to her arrest. She listed, "Beer, vodka seltzer, Soco shots, chocolate pretzel shots, Long Island."
Nicole was arrested on July 30, 2010. According to Showbiz, Nicole "was charged with disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and criminal annoyance of others." Two of the three charges were later dropped when Nicole attended her court hearing the following September. As a punishment, Nicole was forced to pay a $500 fine in addition to serving two days of community service. Her community service time allegedly involved signing autographs. Nicole is not the only one of the Jersey Shore cast members to have been arrested over the years. Her best friend, Deena, was later taken into custody for public intoxication during season 6 of the show. At the time, Deena took Nicole's place as the wild meatball on the show since Nicole was pregnant with her first child.
Other cast members that have had encounters with the law over the years include Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Mike spent eight months in prison for his tax evasion scandal. Ronnie, on the other hand, has been arrested on numerous different occasions. Throughout the original series, he was arrested for being involved in fights. Then, more recently, Ronnie has been arrested a handful of times for domestic violence incidents involving both his ex and baby mama Jenn Harley, as well as his current fiancé Saffire Matos. At least Nicole can look back and laugh at her past arrest, unlike Mike and Ronnie, whose incidents were much more serious.
