Former Jersey Shore star, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola was recently spotted without her engagement ring yet again. Sammi was in Ocean City, New Jersey on Monday, June 14 for the grand opening of her new boutique location. Despite seeming quite happy for the big event, Sammi ditched her engagement ring, with no mention of the wedding or her fiancé Christian Biscardi. Christian was not in attendance.
Sammi and Christian have been making headlines for quite some time now with rumors of a split. The two first began dating in 2017, after Sammi finally put her toxic relationship with former co-star Ronnie Ortiz Magro in the past for good. Christian proposed to Sammi two years later on the beach in 2019. The couple had planned to get married in 2020; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were forced to postpone it numerous times. Just a month ago, rumors began to swirl claiming the two were calling off the wedding for good after they unfollowed each other on social media.
Now, fans are near certain that Sammi and Christian did in fact call it quits and she is once again living her life. According to E!, Sammi ditched her engagement ring on Monday, June 14 as she headed down the shore for the grand opening of her new boutique location, Sweetheart Coast. Fans in attendance claim that Sammi was all smiles and seemed quite happy; however, one stated, "It was obvious she wasn't wearing her ring." Despite Sammi not once mentioning Christian nor the wedding, there was much chit-chat amongst attendees about a potential split. An attendee explained that it was quite noticeable that the couple was no longer together, mentioning, "Everyone was speculating about it. She didn't mention her fiancé or wedding."
Although a breakup is never easy, Sammi was in good spirits at her grand opening event. Those in attendance claim she was quite nice and friendly to everyone that came out to support her boutique. Another eyewitness told E!, "She was happy throughout and seemed excited to be able to interact with her fans." Some fans even shared photos alongside Sammi on social media in which it was clear she was not wearing her ring. While many were curious about her current relationship status, attendees respected Sammi's privacy by not asking questions regarding her wedding, Christian, or the missing ring. Although Sammi did not have Christian's support on her big day, she did have her mom and sister by her side for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening event.
Neither Sammi nor Christian have spoken publicly about the recent rumors and the current status of their relationship; however, fans are actually happy that Sammi has allegedly called it quits with Christian. They fear that he was only dating her for fame and wealth. Now, between her recent breakup and Ronnie no longer filming for the show, fans are hoping Sammi will soon make a return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, even if it is only for a cameo appearance.
