Jersey Shore fans are praising Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola for allegedly breaking up with her fiancé Christian Biscardi. They are speculating that the engaged couple has called it quits after Sammi erased him from her Instagram bio and has not posted about him. The two also do not follow each other on the social media platform.
While Sammi is best known for her infamous toxic relationship with Ronnie Ortiz Magro throughout the original series of Jersey Shore, she has since disassociated herself from the show. In 2017, Sammi started dating Christian. The couple began to constantly post photos together and even started a Youtube Channel together. Two years later they got engaged in 2019. Sammi and Christian had to postpone their wedding twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now, fans are speculating that Sammi and Christian have actually canceled the wedding for good. Not only that, but they are also happy about it. They took to Reddit to theorize about the status of their relationship and potential wedding. Many believe that the couple have broken up for numerous reasons. Sammi use to have Christian in her Instagram bio; however, she no longer does. Currently, her bio is focused around her business ventures including her new company Sweetheart Coast. On the other hand, Christian does still have Sammi tagged in his Instagram bio. In fact, his last post was in celebration of the anniversary of their engagement back in March. Sammi has also not posted photos alongside Christian in quite some time. The two allegedly no longer follow each other on the social media platform as well. Because he is no longer tagged in some of her older posts with him, many have speculated that Sammi actually blocked Christian.
Fans are actually quite happy that Sammi and Christian have potentially broken up. In the Reddit thread, they discussed why they feel Sammi is better off without him. Many agreed that they did not like Christian due to the fear he was using her for fame and money. One user wrote, "He seemed to eager to glom what little fame Sammi had," while another added, "I never had a good feeling about him." Although they feel bad for Sammi if she is in fact calling off her wedding, the overall consensus was that she is better off. Aside from this, with Ronnie stepping away from filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans are hoping this opens an opportunity for a newly single Sammi to return to the show.
It is unknown if Sammi and Christian did in fact call off their wedding; however, whether they did or not, it is highly unlikely that Sammi will join her former roommates on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, despite fans' high hopes. In the past Sammi has made it clear that she is done with the franchise.
