Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s lawyers say that details about the arrest are based on "speculation." The arrest happened on account of an interaction Ortiz-Magro had with his girlfriend Jen Harley.

The pair initially met back in 2017 while in Las Vegas, and Harley became pregnant with their daughter Arian Sky soon after. The two have been known to hit the tabloids thanks to their catastrophe of a relationship. Ortiz-Magro only recently left the rehab program that was meant to help him focus on his drinking and depression in June of this year. The MTV film crew had caught Harley numerous times trying to test his sobriety, every time Ortiz-Magro has steered clear.

Now, Ortiz-Magro lawyer, Scott E. Leemon, spoke to Us Weekly, saying in a statement that was released on October 5 that the alleged incident that relates to the Jersey Shore star is based on “pure speculation.” The high-end lawyer went on to say that their firm is currently running their own investigation into the events of the night in question and would not comment further until he had ended it.

On October 4, Ortiz-Magro was arrested in Los Angeles for felony domestic violence against Harley. The news was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department in a statement, which read that officers responded to a battery in progress at around 2:40 in the morning. The police determined that Ortiz-Magro and Harley were involved in a physical altercation that turned violent. The police then claimed that Ortiz-Magro was uncooperative, and they were forced to use minor force, tasing him. The LAPD did confirm that there was a child on the scene, but she was not harmed. Ortiz-Magro was released from jail after he paid the $100,000. Only hours before his arrest, the couple was seen together in West Hollywood for his CBD launch party of VERGE. The MTV star even spoke with Us Weekly and addressed the rumors about everyone believing that their relationship was toxic. He defended Harley, saying that she does balance him out and, at the end of the day, they are a family unit.

If Ortiz-Magro keeps choosing to make bad decisions with Harley, it's anyone's guess what their future together holds. While Ortiz-Magro had successfully completed his time in rehab, it would seem that he may have forgotten all the tricks of the trade for dealing with outside circumstances. Haters and fans alike would really just like to see him get back on track with his life and not screw up the chance at success that MTV had granted him with the hit show.
