Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz Magro's jeweler is sharing all of the details on designing Ronnie's engagement ring for Saffire Matos with him. Ronnie was supposedly very involved in the designing process of Saffire's massive rock. He had been working with the jeweler for months prior to proposing to Saffire. While the ring cost Ronnie a hefty penny, his experience designing it was "priceless."

Jersey Shore's Ronnie proposed to Saffire over Father's Day weekend. He worked with an event planning company to set up a romantic picnic on a local beach in Los Angeles, California, where he currently resides. Red rose petals were scattered over the sand, as white letters spelled out, "Marry Me." Fans quickly began to speculate the couple was engaged, despite Ronnie and Saffire not confirming the news until two days later.

As the newly engaged Jersey Shore couple continues to post photos from their special day, Ronnie gave a shout-out to the jeweler he worked with on Saffire's ring in one of his recent posts. The jeweler, Layna Friedman of Layna Friedman Jewelers Beverly Hills, spoke with E! News to spill all of the details of working alongside Ronnie. She explained that Ronnie approached her about designing an engagement ring months prior to the proposal. Ronnie was very involved in the lengthy designing process. Layna said, "He was very much part of designing it with me and was very involved every step of the way, which was fantastic." Check out Ronnie's recent post showing off the engagement ring below:

Layna continued on to admit that it was very obvious that Ronnie is madly in love with Saffire. The Jersey Shore alum truly wanted to design the perfect ring for his future wife that he knew she would love. He went with an oval cut diamond because he "knew Saffire would love the style." Layna explained that the ring's "band, the whole setting is in rose gold," which ultimately adds a touch of femininity to the ring. Being "just a little under seven carats" the ring is valued around $150,000. Despite the hefty cost, Layna described Ronnie's experience being involved in designing the ring as "priceless." She said, "He was very thoughtful in picking the diamond and just wanted something really brilliant and gorgeous, and I think we really achieved that."

The Jersey Shore star's shocking proposal to Saffire came two months after he was arrested for domestic violence allegations; however, if Layna is claiming that she had been working with Ronnie for months, then he had been planning on proposing prior to the incident. This would also potentially shut down rumors that Saffire is actually pregnant, which would have forced Ronnie into a rushed engagement. Now that he is no longer filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Ronnie is going to have to find another source of income to pay off this expensive ring--aside from clickbait, that it.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8pm on MTV.
