Jersey Shore stars Paul 'DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino have signed up for MTV's new show Revenge Prank. The two reality stars are known for their over the top antics and jokes.

The iconic Italian flag printed on the garage still welcomes fans as they drive down the main strip of Seaside Heights, New Jersey towards the Jersey Shore house. The roommates are well-known thanks to the reality show’s six-season run on MTV. The show has had some spin-offs such as Floribama Shore, Snooki and JWoww, and A Double Shot at Love. It was reported that the two friends were in the works for a Vegas Pool Party spin-off, but it looks like they got something even better. The success of the Jersey Shore has held strong throughout the years and MTV is hoping their new show will be as popular.

According to MTV, the two best friends have officially signed up to star on the networks Revenge Prank show. Fans are overly excited to see the two dedicate a whole show to their pranks as die-hard fans will remember that Pauly D is the prank war master against his other roommates. The series is brand new and will share practical jokes with its viewers, thanks to the two new hosts. Vinny and Pauly should feel at home in front of the cameras hosting as Pauly regularly DJ’s sold-out venues all across the world and Vinny just wrapped up a host gigging with Chippendales in Las Vegas.

The show’s premise is with each episode the duo will meet a new person who would like to get revenge via viral video on a friend that may have wronged or embarrassed them. The two hosts will bid to pull off an over the top prank that will leave the subject astonished. While fans are hoping the famed DJ brings the microphone they also wonder if they will have any of their roommates as guest prankers when the show airs. Snooki has already announced she will not be returning to the shore house for the next season as she wants more time with her children.

Fans of the roommates have been watching the current season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation but have not been wowed as most of their drama went public before the shows airing. MTV fans are wondering if Vinny and Pauly’s fun and playful dynamic will help bring a much-needed boost to the franchise.
