After her sudden departure from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 3, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is opening up about why she made the ultimate decision to prioritize her family over the long-running show. She was featured on a segment of Daily Pop on E! during which she talked about her decision. Nicole recently posted a photo on Instagram of her virtual press day featuring a very large wine bottle holding up her camera.
Snooki has been the ultimate fan-favorite since the start of Jersey Shore in 2009. The fans were excited to hear that Nicole would be returning for the show's spin-off, but were then upset to hear that she was leaving the franchise following the drama at Angelina's wedding. As the show continued to go on without everyone's favorite "meatball," the viewers have continued to question if Snooki will ever return.
During her recent virtual press day, Snooki spoke with Carissa Culiner for a segment on Daily Pop. Carissa asked Snooki how she feels about Jersey Shore, and Snooki admitted to missing the show and her co-stars, as it was the main focus of her life for over ten years. However, she needed to take time to focus on herself as her "soul needed a break." The constant and ongoing drama she experienced on the series was beginning to take a toll on Nicole, and with the time that she was spending away from her family to film, Nicole did not feel that she was being the best mom she could be to her kids. Ultimately, she stepped away from the show to focus on giving her kids as much of her undivided attention as possible.
Within her newfound free time with her kids, Nicole and her daughter Giovanna have been sharing adorable TikTok videos together. Snooki gave all the credit to her six-year-old daughter as she taught Nicole how to use the popular app. Nicole joked that Giovanna is going to "be a director one day." As Giovanna is a TikTok pro, Snooki is always looking to create new content with her daughter.
Despite Nicole feeling as though she wasn't being the best mom she could be to her kids, the fans think otherwise, as they have actually praised both Nicole and Jwoww for being good moms. While Nicole in no way hinted at making a return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans are still holding onto the hope that it could still happen someday.
