Like most fans of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are STILL not over the cringe-worthy speech delivered by their female roomies at castmate Angelina Pivarnick's wedding. In a special pre-season episode entitled An Unshoregettable Wedding, "RSVP" reunited virtually to candidly reflect on what Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, and Deena Cortese thought would be a hit...not a major drama-filled miss.
The two-part finale of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season three, simply called, "The Speech," aired in June and chronicled Angelina Pivarnick and husband Chris Larangeira's big day in November 2019. Bridesmaid trio Polizzi, Farley, and Cortese penned the ultimate speech for their favorite "dirty little hamster." Surely, given Pivarnick's tough exterior and inappropriate sense of humor, she'd love being called "the lice to my hair" and "the dump to our island" on the most important day of her life. Wrong. As guests erupted in a roar of boos, Pivarnick stormed out of her own wedding, refusing to acknowledge (let alone forgive) the girls.
In the heat of the moment, DelVecchio, Guadagnino, Sorrentino, and Ortiz-Magro stayed uncharacteristically quiet, so as not to cause any further upset at the venue filled with unhappy Staten Islanders. However, during MTV's Unshoregettable Wedding, which aired Nov. 12, the self-described "guidos" finally spoke out about that unforgettable evening, according to In Touch Weekly. Guadagnino, who calls himself the "King of Wedding Speeches," delivered (sort of) heartfelt words at Sorrentino and wife Lauren's wedding, and said the girls' jokes at Angelina's nuptials didn't land: "Staten Islanders are a rough crowd to begin with. Once you make fun of the Staten Island dump, that's not a good look. You've gotta know your audience." DelVecchio reflected on how he attempted to hide himself (and his blowout) under the table. "This is painful," he said while rewatching Cortese tell Pivarnick, "You got engaged three times but the third one stuck." Meanwhile, Sorrentino exclaimed, "Damn!"
The guys of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation remain tight-knit, but the same can't be said about the four girls. Pivarnick appears to still hold a grudge against Polizzi, Farley, and Cortese. Also, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi announced her departure from the Jersey Shore franchise, which means the second half of "Team Meatball" and the "Spiral Squad" will not be part of season four. New episodes begin Thursday on MTV, and, even with Polizzi gone, there will be no shortage of entertainment. According to a trailer, Pivarnick is back and still stirring the pot. She says, "Things are not good between me and the girls." Watch the first look from the show below:
After the tears and insults at Pivarnick's wedding, it seems as though her on-again, off-again relationship with the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast was permanently severed that night. However, reconciliation isn't completely out of the question, especially with Farley. The pair has been quite literally at each others' throats a number of times, with Farley brandishing a wine bottle at Pivarnick. This came after Farley's boyfriend Zack Carpinello, widely known as "24," got handsy with Angelina Pivarnick in a Vegas club while "JWoww" was drunkenly passed out. Despite the blowup, which required security to step in and grab the bottle, Pivarnick and Farley forgave each other. At the end of the day, that's what family does.
