Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio from Jersey Shore didn't get his nickname just for fun. Music is the reality TV star's passion, and he travels the world to bring his beats to fans. Whether it's a hot Las Vegas venue or a suburban high school prom, Pauly D always puts on an unforgettable show. While much of his set features popular dance tracks from industry giants like Beyoncé and Pitbull, Pauly sprinkles in his own collaborations, some of which boast millions of streams on Spotify.

The 40-year-old's career as a DJ dates to his pre-Jersey Shore days growing up in Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that he dubbed himself "Pauly D." Little did he know, this moniker would eventually become a household name. Pauly performed locally non-stop, constantly hoping for his big break. As we know, that came in the form of a new MTV series that chronicled the antics of eight young Italians at Seaside Heights. From the start of the show, Pauly was vocal about his love for music, and his newfound fame opened countless doors. On the spinoff The Pauly D Project, fans saw his DJ career really take off. Highlights included touring with Britney Spears and working with 50 Cent's record label.

During those days of hustling in Rhode Island, Pauly D never dreamed he'd someday land a coveted Vegas residency at Drai's Beachclub & Nightclub. He also never dreamed fans would scream his own lyrics back to him. But that's what happens when you pen a catchy hit. Pauly's most popular song to date is "Back To Love" featuring vocals by Jay Sean. See a post of the duo below. This 2013 power anthem for anyone looking to reconcile a relationship has a whopping four million streams on Spotify. Coming in second with over three million streams is "Beat That Beat (It's Time To)." Featured on the 2010 Jersey Shore soundtrack, the song is a perfect ode to Pauly's "guido way of life." He talks about staying "fresh to death" and complains how "every time I'm DJing, there'll be a hot *ss girl but she's got an ugly *ss friend ... I'm only dealing with nines and 10s ... There'll be no grenades tonight."

Despite being the biggest success story from the Jersey Shore franchise, Pauly remains humble. On the spinoff Double Shot At Love season two, cast member Brandon Stakemann expressed his wish to follow in Pauly's footsteps. At the time, his only experience was DJing bar mitzvahs in New Jersey. With Pauly's busy schedule, he could've easily forgotten about the conversation with Brandon. Instead, in the middle of a sold-out show, Pauly invited him on stage to take over for a track. This gesture was an unforgettable moment for Brandon, who attended several of Pauly's performances over the years with his father.

Now, with the entertainment industry on pause as COVID-19 shutdowns continue, Pauly has entered a new chapter of his life: being a smitten boyfriend to Double Shot At Love contestant Nikki Hall. Throughout quarantine, they've gotten used to enjoying each other's company at his Vegas home. Daily schedules include Nikki cooking delicious meals and Pauly going on scenic motorcycle adventures. It will be interesting to see how their dynamic changes once his busy lifestyle resumes. Will he bring Nikki on tour? Can she handle the fast-paced nature? Or, will she stay home, where she's quickly becoming an Instagram fashion influencer?
