Pauly D hinted that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi may make a few appearances on the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Snooki was a fan favorite on the show for many years. She shocked fans when she decided to quit the franchise following the never-ending drama at Angelina Pivarnick's 2019 wedding. Since her departure, fans have been begging for her to return to the show, claiming it is not the same without her.
Snooki was a breakout star on Jersey Shore. Eight years after the original show came to an end, longtime viewers were excited to hear of her return on the spin-off series. Although she was now a wife and mother, Snooki was still her same fun and wild self. When the falling out occurred between herself, Deena, JWoww and Angelina during the season 3 finale, Snooki ultimately decided it was time for her to step away from the show to focus on her family.
One season without Snooki was more than enough. As fans continue to beg her to return to the show, Pauly D revealed that their wish may come true in the upcoming season. According to Heavy, Pauly appeared on California Love to promote his new virtual sub shop, Pauly D's Italian Subs. During his virtual interview, Pauly revealed that Snooki will in fact be making a cameo in the upcoming season. Pauly shared, "She pops in. I don't know if she's here to stay or not." He went on to explain that he does hope Snooki ultimately decides to return to the show permanently; however, he, along with the rest of the cast, is still unsure what her ultimate decision will be.
Pauly continued to say that their "sister" misses them and they feel the same in return. Although he left it at that, Pauly was hesitant in his answer, as if there was more he wanted to say but could not. Rumors began to speculate that Snooki would in fact be returning to the show when she was spotted filming a lunch date with Angelina back in March. Not long after the rumors began to swirl, Mike "The Situation" subtly confirmed that she would be on the upcoming season on social media. Snooki was also in attendance at Mike and Lauren's baby shower over the weekend which was assumed to be filmed for the show.
Although she will be seen on the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Snooki was not a part of the roommates' recent trip to the mountains which will be a part of the season. Perhaps Snooki will be in attendance for small portions of the show but will not be taking part in any of the groups' overnight trips. A premiere date has yet to be announced; however, it has been said that the season will air sometime in late spring of this year.
