Nikki Hall just fueled recent engagement rumors with her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation boyfriend Pauly D due to her latest Instagram story. Rumors have been swirling claiming that Pauly recently proposed to Nikki while filming for season 5 of the spinoff series; however, neither Nikki nor Pauly have addressed the rumors.
Nikki and Pauly first met while filming Double Shot at Love season 1. Despite inevitably having strong feelings for each other, Pauly ultimately decided to remain single upon the conclusion of the season. The two later reunited to film the second season of the show. Throughout the duration of filming, Pauly and Nikki managed to work out their differences. Then, they quietly began dating again prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. They have remained together since.
Over the weekend, Nikki fueled recent rumors of a potential engagement between her and Pauly. After fans began speculating that Pauly may have proposed to Nikki while filming for season 5 of the show, she shared two skeptic Instagram stories back to back on Sunday, November 15. First, Nikki shared a throwback photo of herself as a child alongside her father. In addition to the photo, Nikki attached the song "First Man" by pop singer Camila Cabello. The emotional song touches on the time in a woman's life when she finds the man she wants to marry. Camila also sings about her father being her first true love despite moving onto the next chapter of her life with the man she has fallen in love with. By adding this choice of song to the post, fans began questioning whether this was Nikki's subtle way of addressing, and somewhat confirming, the recent rumors.
Right after Nikki shared the throwback photo, she posted a close-up photo of her and Pauly holding hands. The photo was solely of the couple's hands interlocked. Everything in the background was completely blurred. Nikki did not add any caption or song to this photo, but many are speculating that this photo was taken during their alleged engagement. Earlier this month, Pauly and Nikki, along with the rest of the cast flew to Florida to film for season 5. The resort they're filming at has a live feed, so fans were able to watch it online and catch some things being filmed, which is how rumors of a proposal between Pauly and Nikki first started.
Despite the suspicious posts, neither Nikki nor Pauly have actually confirmed the rumors; however, they have not denied the rumors either. While many believe that Pauly did in fact propose, others feel Pauly and Nikki keep their relationship too private to have such a public engagement. Unless the couple decides to address the rumors, fans will have to wait until Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 5 airs to see what really took place between Pauly and Nikki on their recent getaway
