There will be no divorces at the Jersey Shore anytime soon. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi took to Instagram to clarify why she is often seen without her wedding ring. Nicole recently revealed she plans to return to reality TV in the new year.
Snooki was always the wild and crazy meatball in the Jersey Shore house. Just before the last season of the original show, Nicole became pregnant with her now-husband Jionni LaValle. The two later tied the knot with a Gatsby wedding in 2014, two years after the show's end. During her time off from Jersey Shore, Nicole also had her daughter, Giovanna. Snooki returned for the show's spinoff Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. During the show, Nicole was pregnant with her third child, Angelo. After his birth, Nicole put her family first and quit the show following the infamous bridesmaid's speech at Angelina Pivarnick's wedding.
Now, Snooki is clearing some things up about her marriage. According to The Sun, Nicole took to her Instagram story to clear up rumors that she was getting a divorce from her husband, Jionni. Fans began to speculate Nicole and Jionni were getting a divorce because she is often seen not wearing her wedding ring. Nicole posted a video to her Instagram story, explaining why she often leaves her ring at home. Nicole's main reasoning was that it's just "not [her] thing." She went on to say that, because she takes care of her three kids at home every day, she does not feel the need to always have her expensive ring on. Nicole does not think much about wearing her ring, as her husband does not wear his wedding ring often as well.
Aside from it not being her thing, Nicole doesn't wear her wedding ring simply because she is afraid of losing it. She fears the ring will accidentally fall off while on a Walmart or Starbucks run. Although Nicole does not wear her wedding ring on a day-to-day basis, she admitted that she will put it on when she is getting dressed up for a date night or going to an event, such as a family party. She clarified she does have her wedding rings in her bathroom. The star concluded her Instagram rant by telling her followers that it is "okay" if they see her without her wedding ring on.
It is not uncommon for couples to leave their wedding rings at home. However, it can be misleading when someone like Nicole, who is constantly in the spotlight, is spotted numerous times without her wedding ring. Luckily, the Jersey Shore star cleared up any and all confusion regarding her marriage. Snooki obviously left the drama in her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation days. Although she quit in the season three finale, her former roomie Pauly D said he thinks Nicole will return to the show. While most fans would love to see her return, it seems as though Nicole is quite happy focusing on her family, rather than the typical roommate drama.
