Mike "The Situation" has come a long way since he first joined the cast of Jersey Shore in 2009. Mike was once perceived as being the biggest player on the show, bringing home numerous girls a night. Now, he and his wife Lauren Sorrentino are getting ready to have their first child together in just a few short months. Mike and Lauren had dated in college before breaking up not long before Mike left to film the show. During their break, Mike grew quite the list of exes.

Throughout the six seasons of Jersey Shore, Mike, like the rest of the cast, was constantly partying. At the end of almost every night at a club, Mike would bring home a different woman. Sometimes it would even be more than one woman. As the seasons went on, Mike became notably more and more aggressive. He would oftentimes be caught up in fights with strangers or even his roommates. It was later made known that Mike was using drugs. After the show ended, Mike sought out help in rehab. He recently celebrated five years of sobriety.

Mike and Lauren first dated in college; however, the two broke up not long before Mike decided he would go on Jersey Shore. After they broke up, Mike went wild, dating numerous different girls. Within the first few days at the shore house, Mike was already flirting with Sammi "Sweetheart." Sammi soon ditched Mike for Ronnie. Not long after, Mike began to date Paula Pickard. Paula worked at the tanning salon that the roommates would oftentimes go to. Mike made things official with Paula during a dinner dater but the romance was short-lived. The couple broke up after just two weeks of dating.

Mike also made out with fellow roommate Snooki on the show. He later started rumors that Snooki had cheated on her now-husband Jionni with him in between seasons. This caused many issues between Snooki and Mike which were not resolved until years after the show ended. It is still unknown if his claims were in fact true; however, Mike and Snooki are now on good terms. Although Mike did not have many known relationships over the years, fans have watched him have flings with numerous different ladies throughout the original show.

When Mike returned to the franchise for the show's spinoff, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, he was a whole new man. He and Lauren had gotten back together not long after the original show came to an end. The two went on to get engaged and later married on the spin-off series. Lauren has played a major role in Mike's sobriety. She has stuck by his side through all of his life obstacles, including his jail sentencing. Lauren has become a regular cast member on the show, even doing her own confessionals. The couple is getting ready to welcome a baby situation into their family this May.
