Mike "The Situation" has become Mike "The Snitch-uation," with fans mocking him for spilling yet another secret about Snooki Polizzi possibly going back to the Jersey Shore franchise. After Snooki and Angelina were spotted on a lunch date that included a camera crew, fans began to speculate that Snooki was in fact returning for the next season of the show. Now, Mike is adding to the rumor by commenting on one of Snooki's recent Instagram posts.
Snooki quit the Jersey Shore franchise in season 3 amid the drama at Angelina's wedding. While she stuck to her word by not returning for the fourth season, Jwoww and Deena ultimately chose to return to filming alongside Angelina. The drama from the infamous wedding speech seemed never-ending as it was dragged out throughout nearly the entire following season. However, the girls finally worked their differences out in time to get along for the season finale. While fans watched Jwoww and Deena resolve their issues with Angelina, the status of Angelina and Snooki's friendship is still unknown.
At this point, it looks like Mike can no longer be trusted with Jersey Shore secrets. The fans are making fun of Mike and how he has snitched yet another secret. Amid the rumors of Snooki returning to the show, Mike fueled the rumors as he commented on Snooki's recent Instagram post, writing: "Snooki's back." The post had nothing to do with a potential comeback, as Snooki was simply promoting "new arrivals" at her boutique. Fans quickly began to joke that Mike is not good at keeping secrets. One Instagram user replied to his comment, writing, "Mike... I think it was a secret." Others gave Mike the new nicknames like "SNITCHuation" and "Big Daddy Snitch."
This is not the first time that Mike The Situation spilled a secret. During the most recent season, the fans watched as Mike seemingly forgot that cameras are constantly rolling while they are filming. He started to have a private conversation with Deena and his wife Lauren regarding a text message exchange between Deena and Jwoww. The conversation portrayed Jwoww as a puppet master as she commanded Deena to not sit down with Angelina, threatening to not fly out to Las Vegas. While Mike assured Deena the conversation would stay between them, he not only forgot that the cameras caught the chat, but he also told the other guys about the text messages. Production later had to remind Mike that cameras are in fact always filming.
This is not the first time Mike has talked about Snooki returning to the show. He even revealed that she does actually want to return to the show. But while most castmembers have confirmed that they are filming season 5, details about the new Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season are still unknown.
