Jersey Shore fans are praising Mike "The Situation" and his wife Lauren Sorrentino for their glow-up at their recent baby shower. The couple prepared for the upcoming birth of their first child over the weekend with an intimate baby shower held at their New Jersey home. After the celebration, both Mike and Lauren took to Instagram to share photos from the event. Lauren is due to give birth in May 2021.
From once bringing home a different girl every night to now being settled down and expecting his first child, Mike has really come a long way over the years. Shortly after Mike returned home from his prison sentencing in 2019, Lauren got pregnant. Unfortunately, the two later revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage. After trying to get pregnant for quite some time, the couple announced their pregnancy back in November.
Mike The Situation and Lauren were glowing at their baby shower over the weekend, and the Jersey Shore fans were happy to see the couple moving past all of their past obstacles such as Mike's jail time and probation issues. In the comments found in a Reddit thread, a fan exclaimed: "The glow-up on Mike is unreal." They are glad to see Mike settled down and happy, and Lauren is the perfect partner for him. She has helped him turn his life around in more ways than one. According to fans, everyone deserves to have a wife like Lauren. In the photos, Mike looked to be his healthiest, as he is now back to his muscular physique. Lauren had a pregnancy glow in her white fitted dress, and she was praised for her fishtail braid and fit figure despite being 8 months pregnant.
The soon-to-be parents gave fans an inside look at the intimate party on their Instagram accounts. Mike and Lauren posed in front of a beautiful balloon display that had large letters spelling out "Baby Sitch" in the center. The couple provided on-site COVID-19 testing for their guests upon arrival, and even gave out custom hand sanitizers and face masks as party favors for their guests. The tables were set with blue and gold elegant decor. In attendance was Mike's former co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Fans questioned why Snooki was the only cast member to attend the party considering that it had been rumored that Mike and Lauren were filming the celebration for the show. Mike had hinted that Snooki is returning to the show. Perhaps this a part of her partial return.
Mike and Lauren are due to welcome their baby around the same time as fellow Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese. This will be Mike and Lauren's first baby while it is Deena's second. The fans are loving that the cast members' kids are all so close in age. It is like a second generation of everyone's favorite roommates.
