Jenni "JWoww" Farley admitted that she'll most likely not invite her former Jersey Shore co-star Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola to her upcoming wedding. However, not for the reason that many fans would assume. Alas, Jenni's decision is dependent on whether or not she will choose to film her big day for the show. Even though Sammi was a part of the entire original series, she did not return for the show's spinoff series due to the casting of her ex-boyfriend and co-star Ronnie Ortiz Magro.

Jenni and her fiancé Zack Carpinello, better known to fans as "24," got engaged on her birthday in February 2021. Zack surprised Jenni with a romantic dinner on the top of the Rockefeller Center in New York City. A little over a week later, they each shared photos from their romantic evening on Instagram, revealing the news of their engagement. Many fans, as well as Jenni's fellow cast members, were surprised by the shocking announcement.

With another Jersey Shore wedding right around the corner, Jenni will do whatever it takes to avoid any possible drama on her big day. Jenni told In Touch that she may not invite Sammi to her wedding, despite still being friends with her. The two former roommates still talk quite often, many times commenting on each other's posts on social media. Jenni admitted that she would "love to have her" at the wedding. However, there is one reason why Jenni would opt out of inviting Sammi: if Jenni and Zack decided to film their wedding for the show, she would not invite Sammi in respect of her privacy.  She said, “I don’t think I’ll invite her if I do have it on camera because I’ll respect her wishes that she doesn’t want to be on camera anymore.”

Despite maintaining friendships with a majority of the cast after the original Jersey Shore series came to an end, Sammi ultimately opted out of returning to filming the show's spinoff. She explained at the time: "I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship. I am not the same person as I was when I was 22." She also no longer wanted to find herself in toxic situations, particularly any involving Ronnie. As for Sammi, she has been busy working on new projects such as her new boutique Sweetheart Styles as well as posing in bridal photoshoots. Unfortunately, it has been rumored that she and her fiancé Christian Biscardi have called off their engagement.

It is unknown when Jenni and Zack plan to tie the know. From the sounds of it, they still have a lot of details to figure out, including if they plan to broadcast it on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Jenni and Zack are set to make their big engagement announcement while they are in the mountains with the rest of the cast during the upcoming season of the show.
